Excellent. Very good service

We ate here tonight after reading all the good trip advisor reviews and was not disappoint. My wife had the duck orange and I had the beef bavette. Both classic French dishes and both were excellent. Wine was very reasonable SAQ price. Dessert were excellent too and you know what. The price of the... read more

I have been to this restaurant several times and it is always good. Apart from excellent, the other word that comes to mind when thinking of that restaurant is consistency. I almost always take the salmon tartare and it is always the same. I appreciate the server asks us how we like it ( relevé or not). I often go... More

This was our first visit and were pleased with the service and quality of food. It is not fine dining but a nice meal. My steak was cooked perfectly and my wife's pasta with duck was good. I had the trio of mushrooms to start and it was tasty but just a little too much beef stock. Both of us... More

Had a wonderful dinner there from the Martinis to the wine list which is just a couple of dollars more than the SAQ its value meeting quality. We went with Bistro fare with a plate Boudain, Nicoise Salad and Bavette Frit all were well prepared and made the evening enjoyable.

I wanted to get some authentic French cuisine and decided to head to "Le Tire-bouchon". The appetizers (escargots) were awesome but I was very disappointed with the mussels. There was very little flavor and little sauce. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I would return but try something other than the mussels next time.

A friendly atmosphere with a very good selection of french cuisine, and reasonable wine selection at SAQ price. The food was enjoyed by all with a nice desert selection. If I had one bemole would be the noise level. Like too many restaurant in the Momtreal area, it is well attended, but the locals need to learn that they are... More

We are weekend cottagers and will regularly stop in Laval for dinner on a Friday night. Not only do we avoid the worst of the traffic but always have a wonderful meal. From the various Tartares to the Steak/Frites you can't make a mistake. There is a nightly Table d'Hote that changes on a regular basis and a selection of... More

My wife and I had a nice dinner before a movie at colossus theatre near by. First of all we went for an early dinner so we could catch an early show. We were one of the first to arrive so the restaurant was empty. Overall the service was excellent. Even as the restaurant began to fill up, the service... More

If you like a good wine selection at a great price (cost), this is the spot. Also, their beef tartare is WOW!! And don't forget the home fries....Yummy!!!

the food is outstanding. I personally usually have the Steak Frites, which quite frankly is my favorite steak in the city. The Soupe a l'ognion (onion soup ) is also rich and really quite outstanding ! All in all a great place to eat, with amazing ambiance and great service. Ask for Anthony the manager , he's very receptive, very... More
