Was there on Saturday and place was very busy. Service and food were very good. The salmon tartar was the best I ever had. And they sell the wine at cost price, our bottle of wine was under 20$!!! Don't remember the last time I saw that. Our first visit but definitely not out last.

We went for dinner at 8:30 for a friend's birthday. We were supposed to be 10 people but ended up being 8 people since one couple cancelled. Because of this they refused to let us order from the group menu we had to pre-select the night before... Which was also a much better deal! This was very annoying. Also when... More

We had the Onion soup Delicious!. Lamb shank very tender . One had cassoulet , not so good. Could have more light to see what you are eating. Service very fast. Sometimes 2 waiters are rushing to serve you . Price of wine not same as SAQ, probably it is the price that they pay the SAQ.

After researching on the web for a good tartar restaurant the Tire-Bouchon came up several times. I shared the tartar trio to get a taste of each kind (beef, salmon and tuna). None were good, all had very odd flavours. I've had tartar many times and always enjoyed it. Not this time. I can think of a lot of better... More

Wet here due to convenience to my hotel....This at best an average restaurant and I am being generous. Service is non-attentive; food is ok but shows no pride in preparation and is also dramatically over-sauced....This is like an upscale chain type restaurant and is in no way keeping the fine cuisine of Quebec. Go somewhere else for real French food...even... More

Stopped here for a quick lunch bite. We ordered the brie crusted hot cheese appetizer. It came with nice hot bread. It was very lovely. The main dish had the salmon Tartar with french fries and this was delicious. My working colleague had the shrimp with rice and vegetables. It was ok to me not my favoirite dish. For dessert... We were staying in Montreal for a few days and had this restaurant recommended to us, it's a little way out of town in Laval but we're very glad we went. The food, drink and service were all excellent, the staff were knowledgeable and charming and there was a real buzz about the place. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I've been to this restaurant on a few occasions for business lunches and have always enjoyed excellent service, very good food and good wine! A sure bet at any time. In the evening, this can also be an excellent place for a romantic diner

Was there with my friend Tuesday night and had a wonderful time. The restaurant was quite busy but, thankfully, I had reserved and asked for a booth which gave us a quieter space to enjoy our meal. We shared the tartar trio (beef, salmon and tuna) and were very happy with all the tartars but especially the salmon which was... More
