Decent food, slightly overpriced, meh experience

I had the salmon with the risotto and mushroom sauce, my partner and guest each had the lobster and filet mignon poutine with provolone cheese. I liked the salmon, it was cooked perfectly, however the others didn't care too much for the poutine. The cheese was not evenly distributed, the filet... read more

We were staying at a hotel not to far and the concerige suggested this restaurant. We had reservations for 7:30pm the only opening available which was fine, he told us this was the place to be on a Wednesday night. I didn't like that they sat us at a table that we can only use half of because the ac... More

Two years ago when i visited Moomba for dinner for a birthday - i found it mediocre at best but have to say it last week on a friday when I dined there again, food was awesome! Salmon tartar was excellent, calamari was fried perfectly without grease dripping and my filet Mignon was really good! Be careful, prices are not... More

Ive been to the Moomba Supperclub a few times, maybe 4-5 years ago.Food was pretty good, staff also very good but it no longer seems to be the same.Maybe new administration or changes in the kitchen, what ever the reasons, this place isn't what it used to be.My calamari was rubbery without much taste, salmon tartar also tasteless.Everything we had was without taste, simply not to... Moomba supperclub is doing well. Always packed on the weekend with great music. There's a terrace outside for smokers with a bar ad lounge chairs for bottle service only.During the winter months, the bar is open with heaters all around. Unless youre standing right under neath oe, its cold out there but there are some guests who spend the night... More

I love the music. It's the closest thing to Miami style nightclubs around here. I love that it's free for LADIES on Wednesday nights too. I come here alone all the time. People and bartenders are friendly. Great mix of people that come from all over the world. The ambiance is great too.

I must agree with the reviews here about the service and food before and the thing endured by ppl in the past (including the manager who is no longer there) because im a regular client who goes to eat there at times when i finish work early. ...but judging by the last few times i ate there, the food (while... 1st and last time at this restaurant. service was way too slow, even though they try to rush you and remove your tables, when your bill hasn't even been given to you yet. music way too loud during dinner, can't hear yourself think. waitress has no regard for service and the manager didn't seem to care either. never again

I've never been treated so badly, especially not by a manager. He was rude and condescending as he tried to rush us off our table (we had dinner reservations) in order to accomodate a bottle reservation. The food wasn't anything special, so save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.
