Expertly prepared

Had lunch with a friend who is very well versed in sushi ... he did all the ordering. We both very much enjoyed everything and sent nothing but empty plates back. I would recommend and will return.

The sushis are the best but the service is very slow as if one person serving the whole restaurant .. The food is so tasty and artistically presented with colors so inviting and comforting . Even the vegetarian dishes are good

Everything is ok, taste and flavor and presentation as well . We have a great moment with wine, Sapporo beer and one Bottle of wine.

Mikasa's on Peel was amazing. Since we wanted our Mikasa fix (the one on Peel Street closed down b/c of the renovations of the Residence Inn) we headed to the Laval place. It's not nearly as nice inside as the one on Peel, the servers were not nearly as friendly, and the food not nearly as good. The shrimp tempura... More

Busy Saturday night, so you must not be in a hurry, but the food was fantastic (gotta pick what you love!). Great service, although not very quick. Maybe it was due to the fact that we were sitting far from the kitchen (by the window). It's been numerous times that I go to this restaurant. The setting is gorgeous and... More

The sushi selection at mikasa is excellent. The quality and freshness of the food is worth the price you pay. Things to try are the wakame salad, the sushi pizza, tuna kamikaze, tempura veggies, nirvana, la sirene and the spider. The service is a little slow, but every time I've gone there it has always been busy, so on that... More

I was always a fan of the sushi at Mikasa. Very fresh and great choice! Last night we were 4 girls, had made reservations in one of the rooms and arrived and were seated at 7 pm. The restaurant was empty. The waitress seated us and left. There were only two menus (we were four) and so we pressed the... More

They make very good sushi. You won't be disappointed with the food in terms of quality, but it is a little pricey. Try to steer clear from the fried sushi - it as a little dry & my husband and I felt a little sick for the rest of the evening...oil and sushi don't mix! Service was good.

This is my second review for this restaurant. We have been there quite a few time but our last experience was way below our previous ones. The restaurant was almost empty. One of our waiter had no idea what he was supposed to do... it was more than " lost in translation". Everybody in our party loves sushis ... we... More
