Adorable coffee shop with delicious eats

Falling upon this coffee shop was a real treat as we hit the road for the next stop of our road trip, leaving the beautiful province of PEI. This place has REAL coffee, European style. It is worth the trip. There are homemade soups and sandwiches, too.

Lovely spot for a light breakfast, right by the water. Easily the best Americano I've ever had - and I've had a lot! Be sure to check it out!

Although their coffee is not better than Starbucks, their food is. My wife got a very tasty sandwich from them. If you need to use the restroom, please note that it is downstairs – way downstairs. The service was friendly. The seating was adequate. They apparently have free Wi-Fi although we did not need it. Give them a try.

Local restaurant, amazing homecooked meals. Pumpkin spice lattee was a bit too "pumpkin-y" for me, but the rest of their coffees are amazing!

Thank you! Always nice to hear good things and love feedback too! Yes, our pumpkin spice lattes are a tad pump-ki-ny, we make the pumpkin syrup from scratch so the flavor may come through a little strong. As always, with any of our drinks-we make them to please you the customer so you can always ask for more or less.... More

Ideal spot to meet a friend for coffee ! Lunches are light so not a spot for those big appetites ! A bit pricey but enjoyable on occasion .Offers gluten free choices too.

Thank you Barry, we are happy you chose to visit us and thank you for your feedback. We put our focus on quality products such as local meats and cheeses and organic bread and although we hope they fill the appetite, they are on the lighter side. However-we still have those cheesecakes and pies for the odd indulgence! Thanks again More

Wonderful sandwich and soups- not a large menu- but everything tastes awesome. Great place for coffee and snack with a friend, too.

Went there for lunch with a colleague. Had the turkey and goat cheese sandwich. It was good. Coffee was good also.

Thank you for your comment-appreciate you taking the time to do so! You had the Clifton Sandwich. Turkey and goat cheese! The sandwich is named after my Grandfather's hotel which was located across the street until 1959. It is a pretty popular sandwich. Thank you for coming to lunch with your colleague and hope to see you again soon! More

I stopped in for lunch and I ordered a salad and my wife ordered a soup. The salad came out fresh and my wife (who loves soups) found the soup tasty. The atmosphere in the place is nice and I found the staff friendly. The only challenge here is the parking... I found the easiest thing to do is to... More

We stopped in for lunch. Huge mistake. I ordered the soup of the day - potato and bacon. The soup was tepid milk. Not a potato piece to be found. After a spoonful I left but not before I watched the girl at the counter who handled money and replenished scones and muffins, all without washing her hands. This cafe... More

So sorry to hear of your recent experience. Although we make it our mission and our goal for this to never happen, we do realize that unfortunately sometimes for some customers it did not meet expectation. Clearly this was your experience and for this we apologize. We make all of our soups from scratch and we offer two varieties each... More
