I don't know if this is the "World's Best Ice Cream" (we need to do a lot more sampling across the globe before we deem this as the best!), but it was certainly creamy and delicious. My husband and I shared a "Mooey Gooey" and a "Wowie Cowie", which turned out to be very similar, but very good. We were... More

We tried vanilla and strawberries ice cream from Cows on the PEI ferry. Vanilla ice cream never even stand behind live or dried vanilla, strawberries ice cream never got in touch with fresh berries. Bee Es. Beware of tasteless ice cream!

We were at an ADL ice cream vendor and asked some locals if it was the best ice cream on the Island, as we wanted to save our indulgence for the best. They said it was, which surprised me, as it was just like most ice cream you purchase commercially - obviously containing fillers and not just pure cream, sugar... More

Cows Creamery has wonderful ice cream. It has inventive flavors with cute & quirky names. But it is the quality of the ice cream that really brings customers back for more. It is very creamy, intensely flavorful. We had it numerous times on our visit to PEI. Don't miss it!

Cow's has done a great job marketing itself because it sells loads of ice cream which just isn't very good. I've had better ice cream from the grocery store. The cones also aren't particularly good. We're really not sure what all the hype is about. Skip this so-called must visit place. It may be an institution on the Island but... More

When going to Prince Edward Island you must have a Cows ice-cream. It is definitely the best ice cream in Canada. Even know it is overpriced it is still worth it. They have an endless selection of t-shirt that are funny and cute.

I'm really not sure why people are so hot and bothered over Cows. The selection is minimal, the actual ice cream tastes the same as the ones I get at the local corner store, and the waffle cones are the same ones I can buy at Costco. At $6 for a single scoop, I'll go elsewhere.

Cows Ice Cream is a must if you're in PEI. If you do not stop for ice cream, it's like visiting France and not seeing the Eiffel Tower, or like, visiting Montreal and not stopping to have a poutine or smoked meat. Just do it. Cows Ice Cream is all over the island.

There is always a long line for good reason!! We had Cows first in Halifax and had to have it again here in its home of PEI. Today we hit the parlour twice, each time trying two different flavours! The creamy texture, unique flavours and entertaining T-shirts cannot be missed when in the east coast!!
