A group of friends stopped in to Mavor's for supper before attending one of the many great shows that Charlottetown offers every summer. We sat outside in their lovely courtyard patio....very pleasant with plants, flowers, trees and lighting. Two of us ordered the curry pad thai, after inquiring how spicy it was....our server told us it was not very hot... More

The first meal I had on the island was the fish and chips at Mavor's. Since then I've tried many places' and theirs were the best. dense batter that was actually cooked well, not overly greasy, good tartar sauce, great fries, very crisp. I just wish it was more economical, I wish it was just a two piece serving, the... More

Went here before Anne of Green Gables The Musical. It was pretty good. I wasn't really feeling the strawberry shortcake-like dessert. I would recommend it if you don't feel like researching a restaurant to go to before a show being held at the venue.

First, the good: - the courtyard is lovely, the interior restaurant also has a nice atmosphere - we both had a Sicilian Salad (chopped fennel, mint, orange, feta...very nice flavour, large portion) - using quite a few locally sourced ingredients in dishes - fairly good selection of Scotch - friendly staff Second, the not so great: - the entrees we... We're here on holidays from Ontario, I called ahead to inquire if they could accommodate a severe allergy, they could and so we made a reservation. The service was perfect, the courtyard like patio, with a water feature was beautiful. My husband had bacon wrapped scallops and surf and turf; I had bruschetta and the portobello Wellington, both excellent. If... More

My wife's Pad Thai was over cooked soggy and swimming in curry sauce. For $8 extra you get 3 shrimp and 2 scallops. She asked for a crusty roll to soak up some of the sauce but got these little dry pudding excuses for bread. It actually tasted ok but the chef doesn't know what pad Thai is. I had... More

We ate a late lunch here because we were at the Art Museum (fabulous show of Canadian artists) it was raining outside. We came in here rather than get wet. I'm so happy we did. I ordered a lettuce, cucumber and melon salad and Tom got fish and chips. Our lovely server, Jill warned that the 2 pieces of fish... More
