It's in the Culinary Institute so hard to find, but worth the search. The food was great. Very "appropriate" and fancy place. The servers are all students as well. Even though we. didn't have reservations, they had a seat for us, even though maybe we weren't dressed for it. We both had fish. The food was just incredible.

This restaurant is in the culinary school (Holland College), but once you get in and you face the water the dining room is simple and elegant. Nice for a birthday, special occasion or just for a treat (we were on vacation). But since it's a teaching school it feels comfortable - not too stuffy. Service was perfect and everyone was... More

The preparations are not tasty and the service is poor. They do not seem to use fresh seafood. Because of the fame for the Green Gables, visitors tend to go to this place to eat....but it is not worth the money they spend.

We had dinner here recently as a result of checking out some tripadvisor reviews and had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is located in the Culinary Institute of Canada and has a great location overlooking the water. Our server Laura was friendly, helpful and professional. The dinner which we were told was prepared by chef Stephen (who had just completed... More

I'm so glad I read about this place as the building looks very much like a warehouse on the exterior and from the street there is no sign indicating a restaurant. The dining room itself is plain, with a nice view of the water. We enjoyed being served by recent graduates of the school who tried to give diners a... More

Maybe our favorite place on the island. We came here for the second time (last year was the first) to the restaurant at the culinary institute. It's one of the best-kept secrets here. The food is amazing. This time we had oysters, seared scallops, bison and the apple tart with mascarpone ice cream. Everything was delicious, and the prices were... More

We had read about this restaurant in trip advisor and were really looking forward to our visit. we were not disappointed. it is hard to find ,located at the back of a college building and the ambience is very utilitarian however, the view compensates for that, as does the food and the welcome. the enthusiasm of the staff is almost... Good service and Nice view on the sea. We really enjoyed the different breads and butters at the beginning and the mise en bouche. Nice first entrée with the polenta and mushrooms. The main courses were unequals. First, the 4 generous sea scalops with pork belly were delicious. Then, we had the hallibut which was meant to be medium cookee,... More

I have had the pleasure of dining here several times and I am always impressed. The service is excellent and the view is amazing. But most importantly, the food is incredible! The students do a fantastic job in the kitchen and it shows. Give it a try and see for yourself.

I believe Gordon Ramsay would delight in this experience............ We certainly have each time we've been for dinner... Call for hours as they work with the students schedules. Seating begins at 6 pm.
