Homecooking

As described by themselves its fresh home cooking. We tried the burger, pulled pork sandwich, lobster claw sandwich and the bacon burger. All very good served with coleslaw and one other side

We were on a Caravan tour - staying at the adjacent motel. Wife and I had dinner at Lobster Claw tonight. The restaurant was busy, our service was prompt and our meals were delivered in a timely manner. My wife and I, and the other couple at our table, enjoyed our meals. When the check arrived, I noticed, with pleasure,... More

Stopped in at the wrong time as their was a senior women's group having their meeting. However, once they left, things seem to settle down. Food good but nothing special. Service was ok but the were overwhelmed by the group that left. Not the ideal place to stop but not many choices in the area.

The 'Chili Soup' was wonderful and so was the 'Scallop and Shrimp Platter'........ but the soup arrived only at room temperature, not hot like it should be. They took it back and re-nuked it, but it seemed to be a long time to return and when it did, my entrée came first. I said, "Soup first, then entrée after I... More

The Lobster Claw has always been a dependable favorite; delectable from the early bird breakfast to dinner entree specials, and worthy of a good number of visits. Returning this Spring was disappointing. New paint job and new menu but changes abound the once familiar offerings! Increased prices are understandable but the hash substitute for the PEI potato pan fries with... More

We only ate at this place because we were staying at the North Winds, and this is right on the grounds of the Hotel. The location was convenient for us after we returned from a trip to Charlottetown. The food was OK, but the prices were reasonable. The service was very fast and good. The waitresses were all super-friendly, and... More

Here's the good: In general, the entrées are good. The seafood chowder was nice too, but soup has to be hot, not warm. The water is great because I know it comes from a well. Here's the bad: The staff are heavy-footed on the loose floor. You need your floor tightened-up and the staff need to lighten-up on their foot... More

We had breakfast at this restaurant. There was a strong smell of fried food, the table was dirty and the seating was full of crumbs, we had to clean it before we set. We had no choice but to stay as our hotel did not serve breakfast. We ordered pancakes and french toats. The pancakes did not look like pancakes... More
