The chef of the former Dayboat has moved into the city and opened a bright modern room with great service and food. The room is tasteful and really could have been anywhere in the world. The food, however, is east coast. Expect lots of fresh fish and local veggies. We had the 5 course tasting menu ($70/person) which was delicious... More

We've had the pleasure of dining at Lot 30 a number of times, and felt it was time to share our love of it with everyone else. We have eaten in a hundred restaurants around the world, including those with Michelin stars, and very few can top the dining experience at Lot 30. Consistently the best in Canada. The artistic,... Subject to the gripe below, this was one of the best meals on the island. Service was great and there was a lot of time between courses, as you would want in this type of meal. I think the dinner took over 2 hours. This is an event place (anniversary birthday, etc.). It was not cheap, easily nearing 100 dollars... More

Went here based on Tripadvisor reviews. The atmosphere is very upscale but laid back, I was fine in a collar shirt and jeans. The menu changes weekly, so there are no specials. The food was amazing and very filling. The chef even adds his own family recipes to the menu, all of which were out of this world. Would definitely... More

Great service and enjoyed watching the preparation of our food via the close circuit link to the kitchen. Lobster was a bit cold and they charge a $10 plating fee to split an entree for our two young children. Otherwise, the food was excellent. A real treat. As a Manitoban I'm sad we lost a chef and restauranteur of this... More

Lot 30 is our absolute favourite restaurant. We went there a few years ago on a recommendation from a friend when we first moved to PEI, and we have been going ever since. The staff are so attentive and prompt, and the food is absolutely bar none. We recently visited Raymond's in Newfoundland (ranked #1 in Canada), and it just... More

Went here as a group of 10 in August 2014. After our supper, this place has officially set the bar for fine dining for me. The food was wonderfully presented, delicious and the whole time was a great experience. If you are sensitive to costs of your dinner, you may want to consider another location, as the prices reflect the... More

This is a fantastic restaurant. We had one of the best meals that we have had anywhere here. The seared tuna was incredibly fresh and delicious. The rib eye was cooked to perfection and was one of the best steaks we've ever had. The lemon curd dessert (can't recall exactly what it was called) was a perfect ending. The service... More

We've been meaning to try this restaurant for some time now. When we walked in, we were a little disappointed with the atmosphere. It's one big open room, with bright lighting. Everyone in the restaurant looked up at us when we entered. It looks very clean, just not overly welcoming but that was all forgotten when we tried the food.... More

We always eat at Lot 30 when we visit Charlottetown. The food is consistently delicious, innovative, and well prepared. Service is good, and we enjoy the warm, relaxing atmosphere.
