Was looking for a simple hamburger and fries. Walked by the Claddagh House and decided to get their pattie burgar. Much to my surprise it was seasoned with no mention in the menu. I just wanted a simple burger. They were very kind, took it off my bill, and did everything they could to make it right. Might try them... More

My partner and I came to Claddagh Oyster House for an early dinner during our vacation in early October 2013. This was the best full meal we had during our week long trip! We decided to share a local beer (you can never go wrong with local!) and start with an oyster each. Neither of us had ever had oysters... More

Great dinner. Service was good. The Oysters were great - previously I did not like oysters - now love them!! There were 6 of us - everything we ordered was super. I had the Fish Stew and it was amazing - best ever - with big piece of fish on a bed of mussels and scallops - Yummy! Highly recommend... More

I love fresh oysters and was so excited to see that they had a happy hour with $1 fresh oysters. The sauces were great, but not necessary. They oysters were EXTREMELY fresh and tasty! I couldn't believe there were not more people there! I had 2 dozen myself!

Loved it so much we ate there twice. Food was of the best quantity and taste. They created an oyster platter for me that was out if this world.

Found the food was tasty, the lobster risotto was tasty and appropriately portioned. However the Galloway Bay sounds bigger than it is in reality. Think there were about 3 scallops and 4 shrimp in the bay. More of a tide pool. Tasty, but not plentiful. Service was fine, but not attentive.

Loved the food - nice variety, good quality, smallish portions but left full after app/sides. Unfortunately, it's clear they're watching how they spend their money but hope you're not concerned about how you're spending yours.

We chose this restaurant based on the Tripadvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. We had the lobster risotto (divine!), seafood chowder, oysters rockefeller, haddock and a platter of oysters, and they were all delicious. This was definitely our favourite meal in PEI by far! Not to be missed.

Staff here were superb with kids helping to maintain an adult atmosphere for all customers. The scallops were amazing. However, the lobster risotto I waited for with anticipation was good but not the exceptional dinner I was expecting. The wine list was extensive with many choices. Staff new the menu and could make recommendations based on customer preferences.

Stopped in last evening for dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. While we waited near the doorway for our table to be prepared, the Manager propped a folded up "extra" table against the wall. Shortly after, the table fell against my girlfriends mother's knee. The blow was heavy and the Manager heard the accident from the back of the... More
