Excellent place to eat, not just oysters!

But lets be honest here, they probably have the best oysters in town! Great Restaurant, great food and great ambience!

My friend had gourmet macaroni and cheese. I had a salad with beets, goat cheese and a tomoto soup of the day - absolutely yummy! The food is really awesome - out of the ordinary options. The décor for the price, however, is not to my taste. More bistro style with most tables placed very close together. I live in... More

We went with another couple and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. We all went with the Winterdine tenderloin steak dinner - probably the best steak dinner we've had in a restaurant. Perfectly done, tender, juicy and extremely tasty. The shrimp appetizers were fantastic too and the evening would have been complete... More

We have gone to the Claddagh many times over the years, and have seldom been disappointed. Sometimes it is quite noisy even with only the dinner crowd...the old brick walls may have something to do with it. The menu changes fairly often and is not extensive...seafood, pork, beef, etc. plus the oysters. I prefer the blue mussels and they vary... More

This had to be the best dining experience I have enjoyed in a long time. Food was exceptional, service was great and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere made the whole experience most enjoyable.

Had dinner here one night. Very nice atmosphere with the waterfall along the wall. It was definitely a relaxing atmosphere. Food was great and service was great. Good place to consider if in Charlottetown.

My wife did a review where she said I loved the salmon - not true. I just didn't want to spoil Valentines day by sending it back. It was way overcooked, bland and very disappointing. I think it was just a piece of salmon sprinkled with herbs and cooked way too long on too low a heat. Also, the oysters... More

This was a last-minute reservation on Valentine's Day. We called several restaurants until we got two seats at the bar of this restaurant. We hadn't been there in a few years and were very impressed with the renos, including the very comfortable seats at what turned out to be a beautiful oyster bar. It was a great place to watch... Just finished a wonderful Winterdine dinner here! The chowder appetizer was great but the scallop entree was exceptional! Not to mention the Lemon tart for dessert..yum. Our waiter, Brett was great too!

The ambiance was nice, service was ok but not very talkative. Seafood was cooked perfectly but sides were ok. Mussels were ok.
