One of my favorites during our week long trip to PEI! Tastiest baked oysters and most interesting chowder I have ever had, though I've had lots of both. Husband said the raw oysters were right up there! Delicious fish, as well. Friendly service in a very attractive setting. You'll like the "waterfall."

surf and turf - pork with scallops, pureed potatoes, parsnips and greens. Other guests had oysters which were excellent. Good wine selections available. Nice atmosphere.

We were looking for a relaxed atmosphere with good food a found it here. Our friendly server ("J") greeted us warmly and gave us the rundown of the menu. We had haddock and a sauté of shrimp and scallops which were both excellent and quickly served. Prices on PEI are surprisingly high but this place is not out of line.... More

Our innkeeper made our reservations in the Restaurant but we went up to the Pub. Once we straighten that out we stayed in the Pub for the $1 Oysters for Happy Hour. We wanted to do a tasting of oysters from PEI. We found out that the only oysters shucked in the Pub were the Uncle Willy ones which are... More

Although we are not Oyster fans we enjoyed a delicious meal through the recommendation of our B&B. The shrimp & scallop dish I had was very good and my husband enjoyed the halibut with a tomato fennel sauce. The atmosphere was lovely. I recommend a reservation. We will be back!

We stopped here for lunch .They had guinness that is brewed in Ireland. The guinness was excellent as was the sheperds pie.It was probably the best sheperds pie I have ever had.The atmosphere is so friendly and warm that you do not want to leave.

Celebrated an anniversary at Claddagh House (one of our favourites) here in Ch'town. Wonderful raw oysters (choice from half a dozen different bays around PEI) and a non-traditional surf and turf of pork bell and scallops. Fabulous! Attentive service and of course excellent food. Restaurant is small so definitely best to reserve. We like to sit at the bar facing... More

We were visiting near Charlottetown and other reviews made us want to give this place a try. The restaurant itself seemed pretty small so i was glad we had a reservation on a busy Friday night. The decor of the restaurant is nice. Our server was very attentive and friendly and helpful. We had never tried oysters before and she... More

It was the Fall Flavours menu the week we travelled to PEI and before we left decided to book the Claddagh Oyster House for our first night. It was absolutely one of the best meals I have ever had! It started with carrot soup with seared scallops. The scallops were cooked to perfection and combined with the soup, just amazing.... More

After reading all the great reviews on Claddagh, we were really looking forward to a great meal to cap off our trip in the Maritimes. It started well enough, but unfortunately turned negative once I indicated my main course had an issue. The ambience and service to start were good. It's a nice restaurant with a good vibe and filled... More
