Healthy, spicy and Delicious!

I popped in here for the first time today and enjoyed a delicious, non-dairy rutabaga and white pinto bean soup that was both slightly sweet (maybe a dash of honey?) and spicy. I also order the tuna pesto sandwich and was able to get a gluten-free wrap in lieu of the multi-grain bread. There was a... read more

Tasty eats and good coffee, with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Funky vibe and in a wonderful area of town.

I have frequented this quaint restaurant several times but have reserved some criticism to see if it was truly a consistent phenomenon. One staff member who is traditionally behind the till (may even be the owner) is exceptionally inhospitable. A barely audible grunt is the likely response one may receive. Although it is understood that the establishment is self-serve to... More

Not much to add here other than the notes that this place is great. It's got good coffee and snack options, which are not cheap, but not too expensive either. The decor of the place is the best part and I find it hard to describe, but basically just thing of it as hipstery, but in a good way. It's... More

My boyfriend and I just moved to Windsor and set out on a mission to get to know all the best local spots. We stumbled upon Taloola by accident on a Sunday afternoon. Taloola has a unique atmosphere and a notable vegan selection. The service and coffee however were not ideal. We showed up at 3:00 pm (it closed at... More

This place never goes wrong. Nestled close to ShopEco, its foyer brimming with free copies of alternative newspapers and business cards of energy workers, the atmosphere is cozy and Bohemian (see photo). There's live acoustic music on the weekends. The staff here are always friendly, competent and attentive. Check the little blackboard by the wicket for the soup of the... More

The food at taloola is really delicious & as far as vegan food goes in Windsor you don't have a ton of options but the staff has got to be the worst in any city I've been to in an city, ever. I've been here many many times , while the service has always been really awful, this last time... More

The food is so fresh and fabulous with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I love that they make everything on site, not selling remade food that's been shipped in on a truck like some places. I have a nut allergy and when I asked about one of the desserts, the server looked up the recipe in their... More
