great food but out of business! Apparently the road construction and limited menu contributed to closure
Having lived in the Southern states for a number of years and missing the down home cooking, I was very pleased to find Sweet T's on Ottawa Street right here in WIndsor! The chicken IS "southern fried", the sides are genuine, and the ribs are the real deal! A special coffee concoction containing Jack Daniel's really hit the spot and... More
I stopped in to try the menu. It was a slow night so I was seated right away. I asked the server what he suggested between the ribs, meatloaf and fried chicken and he told me that he was a vegetarian! But he did say the fried chicken is the main seller, so I ordered the 3 piece along with... More
As much as we loved the former Bin 151 restaurant that used to occupy this space, the new Sweet T's is a fantastic replacement (although maybe not quite as healthy). The chicken and waffles are outstanding, with the side of syrup that is not too sweet and a wonderful compliment. The chicken is super moist and the skin has the... More
Went to Sweet T after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. Good food, nice but basic dinning area. Extremely friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal there.
My husband and I and another couple decided to give Sweet T's a try since Smoke N' Spice was ridiculously busy as usual. The food and service were top notch. Crispy, tender and juicy fried chicken, really good fries, gravy and beans too. Got the red velvet cheesecake to go and it was great too! Would definitely go back.
This restaurant is located in the same place as the original Smoke and Spice. The menu under this management is different but similar and the food is very, very good. Sticks to your bones and tastes great on the way down
Wasn't quite sure what to expect but we were really surprised with the quality of the food. Apparently owned by the same people that own Smoke and Spice (one of our favourite places) so we decided to try Sweet T's before heading across the border for a concert. The menu is not huge which means they can spend time perfecting... More
My wife and I having visited Windsor ON for the first time turned to Tripadvisor for places to eat and this place stuck out. So we went on many reviews and weren't disappointed. We shared a a couple of things, the beef smoked meatloaf over mashed and of course the chicken and waffles. Well who would have thought that both were... More
I am a huge fan of both this place, and their other restaurant Smoke and Spice. The chicken here is amazing, best I've had in the city! The staff is always very friendly, and the decor is nice. Ottawa street is also a very nice area, with lots of little shops nearby. If you are visiting the city, or from... More
