The Twisted Apron is a favourite outing for me and my friends. We really enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Most recently we had the Pizza Dip as an app, Chili for the meal, and Carrot Cake for dessert. Everything tasted great! I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice outing.

I came in with a friend for dinner. they sat us at the very back of the restaurant. and seemingly forgot us there. someone eventually turned up to take our order but i was not impressed. I felt they sat us back there because we are not part of the pretty people that seem to frequent the place. I had... More

I stopped at the Twisted Apron just before noon on a busy weekday. Although there were several tables available, the seating host asked if I would mind sitting at the bar. (I understand the restaurateur's dilemma of not wanting a table for two to be taken by one person, while a couple is left to wait or simply walks away.... More

I have only been there once a year ago. It was different but charming. The food was good ,leans toward the veggy side but still some good choices. It is rustic but looked after.

Want to impress your out of town guests with a great nonsnobby little joint in the heart of Old Walkerville?!? Well here ya go! I did breakfast, homemade sausage patty, unique with a hint of maple, and maybe cinnamon and ginger for a little heat. Eggs over and homefries. Very good! My sister had The Chicken and bowties. Tastey, with a smooth mushroom... More

We ate breakfast here June 14th. It was good, but just not quite as good as I thought it would be. My BLT "flatbread " was basically scrambled eggs and some bacon in a pita wrap. I likely ordered the wrong thing. My mother in law ordered bacon with her plate and they forgot it ( bacon then brought out... More

I went to this local restaurant for the first time in ages. I'd forgotten that the sole reason I no longer like going there is because it is SO NOISY. The food is imaginative and generally good although I have sent food back. However, when I asked the waitress to have the music turned down she said it was preprogrammed... More

This restaurant is quickly becoming our favorite in Windsor. The chef's know their ingredients well (both in sourcing and how to combine them). Economical given what get's brought out on your plate which is always very flavorful. Atmosphere is very welcoming.
