vegan/vegetarian/ meating eating options

this place offers something for anyone which is nice with fully vegan meals but great meat burgers and other meat meals. the food is consistently good, and the prices are fair. the staff is a lot friendlier than similar restaurants in walkerville.

First of our group to arrive, I waited in the bar conveniently located to see the newest arrivals. Without overmuch time before our concert, once seated things moved swiftly thanks to our attentive server. Crazy for their mussels appetizer which was an entire meal for me as well as the number of ales available from which to choose. Delightful experience!

They do not take reservations but tables turn over fairly rapidly and you can wait at the bar. The food is delicious and the service efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good choice of specials. Street parking leaves much to be desired but is available if you do not mind a short walk.

We were a party of 7 Saturday Morning Jan. 30th 2016 and had to wait a couple of minutes for staff to set up a table which was no problem... The restaurant was very busy but the staff did an excellent job looking after all the guests We received great service from our server Betty who checked out our table... More

Went with my family to get breakfast. There was 6 adults and one child. We waited over an hour and everyone who was a smaller group went in ahead of us. After a total of 1.5 hours waiting we left. They didn't seem to care that we walked out either.

Thank you for your input, it has been very helpful in how we communicate with our guests. In the future I will make sure the host explains to big parties, that when smaller parties are being seated prior to them it is because we only have tables of 2 or 4 available, and none of the tables being side by... This is the kind of place you see at the early stages of community gentrification. Renovated and natty. The service is attentive enough but the waiters and such are a tad overwhelmed with how awesome they think the restaurant is. The breakfast is OK - just OK - and spendy for the area. The benedicts are not very good -... More

Sorry your visit was not up to your standards, but rest assured KNORR mixes have never made their way into our kitchen, everything on our menu is made from scratch, hence the pricing of our menu reflects the time and effort put into each item we serve. The Twisted Apron does not believe in pre-made food service ingredients. If you... More

A group of friends and I go for brunch at least twice a month, we always start with caesars at the bar while we wait because they will not sit you until your whole party is there. This is fine, but sometimes can be annoying if you are waiting for one person and they won't sit you, but thats how... More

A friend and I dined here and enjoyed the chicken pot pie, Mac and cheese and house salad. Next time we are trying the burgers as they look great too. Nice dessert offerings, but we were too full and unique food presentations. We may also try one of their cooking classes.

Very unique menu with not too many options I've tried it all and enjoyed it all. The Perch and there burger are my favourite. Make sure to save room for desert. The salted caramel is out of this world! Seating can be kinda tricky because it's often busy. But it's worth the wait. The menu changes with the seasons so... More

I have eaten at Twisted Apron on many occasions, always for dinner on a weeknight. Each day there are specials plus the regular menu. The food is local, interestingly prepared in unexpected combinations of flavours and ingrediants. The staff a very knowledgable and eager to please. Highly recommended. Phil
