We took our daughter and friend out before a concert at the Casino. The Cook's Shop was easily within walking distance. What a cute little spot in a business type area. We walked in and were greeted with a cozy atmosphere and the delicious smell of garlic, Yum! We were all quite hungry so we ordered an appetizer, but given... More

The food, service, and dedication to excellence have bee the hallmarks of this restaurant since it's inception. Small, quaint and full of atmosphere, the entire experience is worth the trip. The Lamb is succulent and not overbearing, while any of the pasta dishes are sure to please even the most particular palettes.

I'm going to have to get blunt for a moment. Overhyped and overrated. We visited this restaurant for a colleague's birthday. The setting and restaurant itself is great, very soft, candle-lit, beautiful symphonies playing. The perfect setting for romance or even a great european-like prolonged meal. We were giddy to order wine, settled for some Italian red sparkling which was... More

We came down from Toronto and were looking to find a good place to eat. This place is the real deal, and more! Our server was very friendly and attentive and made sure that we knew just how good all the food was. We tried a shrimp skewer, which is some of the best shrimp we've ever had, a soup,... More

This is the perfect place for a first date, anniversary or even just a congratulations dinner. It's very romantic yet relaxed. The prices haven't changed in over 30 years and same with the food. It's just as incredible. All the pasta is home made and the sauces you will melt over. I recommend but make sure to make a reservation.... More

This place was a little difficult to find but worth finding. The pasta was very good and service was outstanding. We enjoyed the quaint, rustic setting and touches. Some may find it dungeon-like but we really enjoyed the low-light cozy feel. The next time we are in Windsor we will definitely be making a reservation.

Came several years ago with brother and sister in law and made a return trip tonight. Went online before coming and was amazed that the prices were so very reasonable. Great staff and Lino the owner was very gracious and had tons of good stories. Our server Moe has been here for years and was great. We had a very... More

This was an evening to celebrate our Anniversary and it was awesome from the moment we walked in the door! It's very cozy and romantic with a warm ambiance. The service is impeccable. The food is amazing right from the start, the bread is seasoned and served warm, the salad was fresh and cold with a homemade dressing that is... More

Went with family for diner. Surprise was that it is in basement with low ceiling. No windows. Place was full and staff was very busy. I did not like how it looks. But... salad was very good. Two meals were excellent: trout and "Strog.?" forgot exact name beef, mushrooms... cost. 21.85
