Ate here at the Christmas Market

Good service, tasty food, but just average menu. Would eat here again, but wouldn't go out of our way to seek it out. Delicious duck wings and giant pretzel.

We visited Toronto Christmas Market and stopped here for a bite to eat. There was a 45 minute wait so they took our number and texted us when a table for two became available. We walked around to see some of the sites at the Christmas Market while we waited, which was great. Dinner was average - nothing special. It... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to warm up after a long walk on a very cold and windy night at the Christmas Market. We dropped in to the Mill St. Brew Pub Beer Hall and had a wonderful time. Lots of interesting beers to try. I enjoyed the wine. The bratwurst was great. My husband is... More

We came here for our office Christmas lunch. Located at the far end of the Distillery District, the Beer Hall is a more upscale venue than the Mill St. Brew Pub. The menu is different, and offers more high-end entrees such as duck-fat fries, elk burgers and Cornish game hens. Despite the pretentiousness of the food - the quality is... More

I understand that with the Christmas Market taking place that this place will be busy. But seriously... Come on. We waited in line to give our info to the hostess which took 20 minutes. After another 35-40 mins we received a text saying that our table was ready. We went back to the restaurant only having to wait another 40... More

We dined here on a Thursday night during the Christmas market. There was a long wait before getting your table and before receiving our food. My husband enjoyed the Cobblestone Stout. The pretzel with beer cheese and mustard was delicious. And we ordered the Cornish hen dinner for two. And considering how late the night was it would've been nice... More

We're so glad you enjoyed the food on your last visit. It can get a bit louder later at night, but if you request a quieter section we would be more than happy to accommodate your needs. My first visit to the Beer Hall at Mill Street back in October was amazing and I reviewed it as such. Made a return visit this past Wednesday and unfortunately it wasn't the best. I ordered the Korean Duck Wings and the Fondue, my friend the Beet Salad and Elk Burger with Duck Fat frites. We received the wings (which... More

Fresh draught including fresh draught root beer which is unique and fantastic. Food is pub style, hot and fresh although not particularly innovative. Desserts are very fresh and good, which is rare for Toronto. Very busy and noisy so dont go if you want a quiet low key experience.

We went during the Christmas market, so the wait was about 2 hours! However, they will text you when a table is available, so you can wander around the market while you wait. It ended up being about 1.5 hours instead of 2. We had a party of 6, and we were seated at a nice table right by the... More

This busy little place in the heart of the Distillery District offers a great variety of food and lots of good fresh beer that is their hallmark. Loved the food and even picked up some of their great beer to take home - just ask them to add it to your bill.
