Beer Was Good, The Food Was Middling

We visited the Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District last week. I had fish & chips which I found the batter on the fish to be too thick & greasy. I peeled the batter away & enjoyed the fish. My wife had one of the burgers which was so big that she could only eat half of it.... read more

This was our 9th or 10th visit to Mill Street. Love the beer, love the food, love the area. We've always had good experiences. We came with friends (February 7th around 2 pm) we were seated for about 25 minutes before the server came over to take our order. By this time we were ready to order our food as... More

What great place with really cold beer. Try the pretzel, the best ever. Was here years ago in the summer and over it then also.

Great place to sit and chill with a cold beer on a hot summer day. Grab a snack and stay longer. I really like this place.

I've been to this restaurant many times years ago. This was my first time back in a while. I went with a family group and although they first said it would be 40 minutes for a table and tried to send us to a sister establishment, when we wanted to wait, we were seated right away. I'm a foodie, but... More

The service here is always very good, and the beer is excellent! Many of the items on the menu are suitable for tapas-style sharing. The bacon jam is unbelievably good. Beer menu is arranged in a way to make sure you find something you will really enjoy. Make sure to check the alcohol content (which is also listed) - they... More

Went here for birthday with friends. Packed but seating was easy to find. Good choice on the drinks. The whole group had a varied choice and all enjoyed. The food was good and as per ordered. Some beer choices weren't available but more than made up for by the good and prompt service received. Been there a few times, same... More

Loved this place. Easy going and casual dining. The staff were prompt will all beer and food orders. This place is great for catching up with mates for a shindig or large function.

Visited during Winterlicious. Excellent food, good sized portions, great price, pleasant service. The sweet potatoe fries and baked salted pretzels were great starters. Main courses of teriyaki stir fry and haddock and chips was followed by an amazing apple rhubarb pie with perfect pastry. Loved receiving all dishes piping hot. We'll definitely return.

Had dinner @ MSBP in the Distillery District...cool spot for a pint & some tasty grub. Loved strolling the area-lots of show & galleries to explore. Made reservations on-line so no waiting when we arrived. Cut above typical pub fare (lobster Mac n cheese, Indian curries, Asian fusion along with pub grub - something for everyone). Kids menu. Husband loved... More
