Great selection of beers

If you're looking for a selection of Canadian craft beers and also some decent foreign beers, the beer bistro is a must. I've been here a few times now and every visit I have been beyond satisfied. Those Belgian frites have become an addiction lol. Seriously though, the food here is great. The burger was served a beautiful medium - medium well and was perfectly layered with toppings, including American cheese. The bun was out of this world good. Without question the... More

Cool atmosphere. There are a few couples tables that line the bar area. You sit next to each other and face the room. We both liked that. Beer selection is excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to questions. There are also a few "chef table" style seats overlooking the kitchen if that's your thing. I... Love their frites - just like in Belgium, or at least a close resemblance. I don't normally drink beer, but this place has so many different types, I had to try one and now I have a favourite. Oh, well. Great place to go with friends. Great food, great service.

Although quite steeply priced for the portions or quality, if you're after a vast variety of taste pairings - and particularly if you're after hard-to-find global labels, this is the place to visit!

I had the steak frites- both were delicious. Others had suckling pig, mussels and quinoa salad; a good variety from the menu and all were successes. I would definitely go back to this place.

We were looking to try some different beers and this is the place for a beer adventure. We tried 2 samplers and they were definitely all different. Did I like them all, no, but it was an easy and inexpensive way to try something outside my normal array of beer choices. We definitely enjoyed our beverages. The food was high... More

Just visited this restaurant/bar whilst on holiday in Toronto, my partner is a fan of different ales so when he saw the menu we knew it was definitely one place we had to sample. For the beer/ale lover it is a must visit :) Food was very good to, their vegetarian pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten.... More

My wife and I stopped here after my son's final lacrosse game on Saturday night. We waited only about 5 minutes to be seated without a reservation - nice as the place was packed. We ordered crabcakes which were small and over cooked, but rather tasty as we were starving. We also ordered the burger which was delicious and the... More
