Good place for dowtown lunch.

Great beer selection of course. Food definitely a cut above the usual pub food norm. Valued that they did not try to hurry us out at what was a busy lunchtime.

In town on business, visited this place again. Busy, fun environment, interesting space. Service friendly and knowledgeable - obviously that's helpful to non beer aficionados. (I'd recommend it to you whether or not you are). We shared a cheese fondue first - great choice. Two guests had mussels although I've forgotten which sauce, followed by the house salad. Another enjoyed... More

I've been here a few times when I've visited Toronto on business and I've found it excellent. It's a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and I don't feel uncomfortable going alone. The bar was quite busy early in the evening maybe with workers as it's downtown. I enjoyed a couple of interesting Ontario craft beers. I'm not a beer drinker... More

It's a great place to meet friends for an after work or after gym drink. It's a loud, friendly atmosphere with few small tables in the bar area and a larger sit-down part of the restaurant. There are also a few chairs at the chef's bar if you are there just for the dinner. The chef's bar is a little... More

We got tons of helpful suggestions from our waiter for both food and beer, and the food was delicious. The amount of beer choices was astounding.

I had such a great time visiting this restaurant. It's very close to the hotel I was staying in (King Edward), so it was extremely convenient. They've got an amazing selection of beer, including great fruity beers for people like me who wouldn't usually drink beer. The food is very reasonably priced, the portions are huge! This fab restaurant deserves... More

This is a pleasant restaurant in a good downtown location. Staff very pleasant, service good. We had beef stew which was OK, the garlic mashed potatoes were very good. I stole a mouthful of my friend's flour-less chocolate cake and it was delicious. The beer aspect was wated on me as I don't drive but my friend had Dragon stout... More

Enjoyed the selection of beer here. The food was a great mix that paired well with the beers. We both enjoyed our meals. She had a burger, and I had mussels in the belgian white broth. Very tasty and the broth was nice to dunk the bread in. Great find very close to our hotel.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff provide very good service. It seems like mussels is the most ordered dish but I ate a steak with fries and caramelized onions which was really good. A little bit expensive but recommended anyway.

What is not to love? A variety of mussel, beers, and homemade ice creams! My personal favorite mussels are El Diablo. I would alsorecommend the Belgian fries cooked the proper way: in beef and duck fat, served with homemade smoked tomato ketchup.
