After reading the reviews and looking at this restaurant online we were excited to check it out while we visited Toronto. Luckily we made a reservation as the restaurant was very busy. There didn't seem to be many staff working and we waited a while for our waitress to return for our orders and with our drinks. When we ordered... More

We just happened to walk by and walked in. Decor a little outdated but the staff and service make up for it. We walked in and nobody was in the place but the staff was so nice and friendly we stayed! Thankfully. Large selections of beers, great staff knowledge of beer and great food. Within minutes of our arrival, the... More

It was busy so had to wait for a table but worth it. Good selection of not so common beers. Cheese fondue to start was perfect with the blonde beer. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which was done perfectly. My chicken curry was falling of the bone wonderfully with just the right amount of heat. Slightly slow service... More

The Beer Bistro continues to keep up their high standard of of quality service and food. I have been a somewhat regular patron for almost ten years and every time I return, I remember why. The staple of their Belgian frites are a mainstay with the delicious smoky ketchup and creamy mayo. Mouth watering fries, they are that good! The... More

Good service and choices to try something different. The Kobe tacos are great and the mussels are great!

The food at Beer Bistro is consistent but unfortunately used to be better under the previous chef. Still good and pairs well with the extensive beer menu. Best bets are the mussels and the Belgian frites.

This is good financial district restaurant - especially for a casual dinner or even lunch. The real draw is the beer menu, with many options that are not available anywhere else in Toronto. The food is pretty good, but pretty run of the mill. Good mussels options, paired with the frites and tasty beer, it makes for a decent dinner.... More

Great beer selection with seasonal local beers and samplers. Can accommodate large parties. Amazing patio with outdoor fireplace. Kids friendly. Can be a little bit loud - you can hear the Chef talking to his team :-) Good food.

Great place for your first night in Toronto.Choose from the comprehensive beer menu with ales from 4 continents. Great tasting notes in the menu will guide you what to drink with the best of Canadian fare like bison burgers and steak frites. Prompt service and olde worlde decor.

Hop(e) fully you'll get the message. This is a new one to me, but another fine addition to the burgeoning beer scene in the city. A good changing menu, and even better, enthusiastic & knowledgeable staff who will discuss tastes with the tyro.
