Great beer (our server chose 6 for us as a taster (only $12)), really good food and excellent service. Plus..as you walk in there's s beer cook book on display. It's free, just ask. A proper hard back $40 cookbook for free. Great night

The ambience is appropriate noise and bustle - it's a popular after work drinks and dinner spot. The beer list is VERY impressive - lots of international selection and good info on each beer with food matches. The service is quite good given how busy it is at dinner. My principal quibble is that the food, while still good, used... More

Went for a brunch meal on a late morning in Toronto. We were seated near the bar and served by the pleasant and knowledgeable bartender. The beer menu was impressive with a mix of local Ontario beers, some Belgians etc. Got a Black Oak "10 Bitter Years" and a Collective Arts "Rhyme and Reason" while my wife was thrilled to... More

I've been eating here for a many years, and it's usually for lunch, occasionally for dinner. This week a friend and I shared the fries (always good) and then we each had a salad. The caesar salad he had looked smallish, it had a ton of croutons and he said it was good. The quinoa salad was quite good, with... More

This is a lively bar/bistro offering an upbeat atmosphere with good food, wine and a great beer selection. The cheese and lager fondue was good and also a good pulled pork sandwich. The waitresses were very helpful and we enjoyed 4 or five very different beers from all over Canada. Enjoyed the Granite Best and the Collective Arts. This is... More

I went to the place tonight, because I am a big fan of mussel and heard some people around me said this place has the best mussel in Toronto!!! So, I had to try. Here is my review. The quality of food was terrible. There were too much spices in my mussel dish which gave a bitter taste plus so... More

We had a great time here at this bar. We actual ate at the bar. The bartender was very good and very attentive. My wife was looking at drinking a Pilsner type beer and even at trying a dry cider. He gave her the option of a flight which he hand picked and was of both types of drink. She... More

Came here twice on a weekend trip with my boyfriend to Toronto. They have a great beer selection and great bartenders. The next day that we came here the bartender recognized us and remembered our drinks and warmly greeted us with the beer before we sat!

Had dinner here - 2 couples. The service was efficient and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the huge selection of beers. She made very good suggestions and recommendations - so if you're uncertain- ask the staff! The food was interesting and very good - appetizers included a smoked salmon dish and perogies with caramelized onions. Main courses were also... More

Checked out the Beer Bistro during a stop over in Toronto. Arrived late at 11:30 at night and almost every table in the lounge was full. Got a nice little booth in the lounge and shared some drinks and appys. We were hungry after a day of flying so we thought we should order 3 appys to share. Huge portions.... More
