We visited on a Friday night and had a really good meal. As stated earlier , the food is served "family style" and you pass the plates around and share. Our server was also the resident wine guy! Very knowledgeable and did a really good job matching a wine with each course. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We have been wanting to come to this restaurant for the longest time and were hoping not to be disappointed and boy we were not! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were well greeted and seated near the open kitchen and our journey began to one of the best meals ever. Our waiter Anthony was phenomenal and attentive... I went to Ruby for my birthday a few years ago and still remember the meal to this day. My favourite course was the main course . We had flank steak, mashed red skin potatoes, fresh vegetables and wilted greens. The best steak I had in a long time. The meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat melted... More

Had wanted to get to the restaurant for a while after watching chef Lynn on TV, finally went and it was all that I expected. The family diner is a treat and food was amazing. Chef Laura chatted with us and Antony chose wine that was perfect. All round great experience, will be back for sure.

We were visiting from Niagara on the Lake which is a haven for great farm to table restaurants and local wines. We were blown away by how amazing this place is. The food quality and local wine pairings were fantastic. It's nice to see more TO restaurants appreciating award winning local Ontario wines. We wish more did. Anthony our server... More

Four of us dined at Ruby Watchco on a recent Saturday evening celebrating my wife's birthday. A pre fix menu with something everybody loved. The chicken liver pate was incredible and a Washington State bottle of wine (Boom Boom) was excellent. Service was first rate and the servers were very attentive in spite of being very busy.

I absolutey LOVE Ruby Watchco. Check their website each week to see the menu for each day, and then book as early as you can because it fills up fast! I have been many times and it is always full. Food is great and plentiful-cheese biscuits at the beginning of the meal are to die for! The only place I... More

Had a wonderful meal with two friends at Ruby Watchco last night. Tons of food - none of us left hungry!!! Food was excellent!!! After dining there and reading other reviews I cannot understand why people say there is not a lot of food and the quality is not great. I saw none of that. Staff was friendly and the... More
