The Best of France under one roof! Le Saint Tropez, Marcel's sister restaurant, is located on the main floor. Featuring Mediterranean cusine, some favorites include steak-frites with five peppercorn sauce, bouillabaisse, duck breast with Grand Marnier, seafood linguine and a selection of daily fresh fish. Desserts include lemon pie with raspberry coulis and chocolate mousse. Every evening, the sounds of La Vie en Rose drift across the dining room from cabaret inspired musicians. Enjoy a bottle of wine in the lovely courtyard.

Good Food

This restaurant has a nice ambiance and European decor. There us also a patio. The staff was very attentive and the food delicious. I think this place was reasonably priced for downtown Toronto. They also offer a fixed price menu, which would be ideal for pre theatre.

This restaurant used to be quaint and pleasant. Reasonably good food at a decent price. My visit this week was a shock. The service was very poor and the food was not worth mentioning. My duck was tough and the plating unappetizing; my partners risotto was mush and my other dining companions didn't fare much better. An appettizer of pate... More

In the past St Tropez was a fixture on King Street, consistently good French food. After a visit this week, I won't return, they have fallen into the tourist trap category. It is clear that they don't expect people to return and this is apparent in the quality of the food and the service. If you want decent, well priced... More

My partner and I were in St. Tropez, France earlier this year. We were downtown last Saturday with my son and his wife for the weekend. We saw the Bistro and felt we had to try it. The decor is quite nice, a little like a bistro in the south of France. We were seated quickly at a good table... More

I love French food, so whenever I am downtown Toronto at meal time I go to this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the outside. It's on a block full of restaurants and it's hard to tell the difference from outside. But inside it's a typical French restaurant. I often order the pepper steak, always cooked to perfection, with a fabulous... More

From the outside it seems rather pedestrian, but once you take a seat you are in for a real treat. French onion soup, pate, calves liver & cream brûlée just like Paris. Good service and live music add to your pleasure.

My partner and I were a bit short on time so we discussed options with the waitress and she recommend the Osso Buco. This addressed our time crunch as it could be served quite quickly. We were very pleased with the flavours. The decor was pleasant. There was a young lady providing some live music and song which was very... More

had dinner here alone. Chatted with affable owner/manager who was very kind. Had a salad followed by a wonderful bison bavette, washed down by some lovely Okanagan red wine. Escaped for under $100 Cdn. Would definitely go back.

Years ago I went to the Saint Tropez' brother restaurant, Marcel's and had a wonderful, affordable French dinner. I went by for lunch today and found its sister bistro, Saint Tropez open for lunch. I had Soup de poisson and a lovely pate. French rose. The service was slow due to the upcoming theater matinees creating a busy restaurant, but... More
