My family, including my wife, myself and our three children chanced upon this bistro while walking King Street West before our visit to the CN Tower. Both servers were able to speak French fluently, which added to the authenticity of the experience, especially for our older two daughters who are fluent in French. The French onion soup was the best... More

Our party of 2 adults and one child decided to walk along restaurant row in search of a dinner destination. After checking out the menu handed to us on the street by the host we were lured into this restaurant by the inviting patio seating photo. The host opened the door and invited us in then pointed to the entrance... More

Meeting my sister for dinner in downtown Toronto was a delightful anticipation. Expecting to go to one of the many ultra modern restaurants that are in abundance downtown, I was overjoyed to see that we were dining instead at Le St. Tropez Restaurant; it was as if I had come upon a rose in the middle of a field of... We were in Toronto for a few nights and on our last night, decided to stroll King Street West and choose a restaurant on instinct. We ended up at the St. Tropez and were not disappointed. With the exception of the bread which wasn't as fresh as I would have liked, everything else from taste to service to atmosphere was... More

This restaurant seemed a bit tired - service was adequate but unenthusiastic, food adequate but unremarkable, decor adequate but faded. The bill, on the other hand was certainly not adequate - it ventured into unexpected heights - leaving us feeling.....less than adequate

We got into Toronto late on a Thursday evening and wanted to get some dinner. We walked up to King Street where you can get overwhelmed with the number of restaurants side-by-side. The hostesses are outside shoving menus at you from every doorway. We heard the live music coming from this bistro. It was a young girl playing guitar and... More

In past years, this was a favorite among the many restaurants along King St. West. Six months ago we dined there and had a vey mediocre experience. Thinking that we had just caught them on an off night, we tried the restaurant again last week with disappointing results. Very ordinary food through three courses (five different plates between my wife... More

This restaurant has gone downhill badly since I last went. Not sure if it's under new management but everything was mediocre at best. I will not go again as there are so many great restaurants in this area and this one won't survive with this quality of food.

Our first night back in Toronto & my partner & I shared a beautiful meal @ this excellent street side Restuarant. We had a lovely table sitting outside & able to enjoy all the excitement that a Saturday Night in Toronto offers. Lots of colour & friendly people. Our food was superb & our service was great. It was a... More

Around 3 i stopped or omelet du jour. it was perfect. Cheese melted just right, not too dry, not too wet. Chocolate mousse was delicious. I sat on the sidewalk or enjoyable people watching. Staff was accommodating and helpful (with gluten info) though not very attentive for such things as refilling water or being prompt with bringing or taking check.... More
