Friendly, casual and affordable

had dinner here alone. Chatted with affable owner/manager who was very kind. Had a salad followed by a wonderful bison bavette, washed down by some lovely Okanagan red wine. Escaped for under $100 Cdn. Would definitely go back.

Years ago I went to the Saint Tropez' brother restaurant, Marcel's and had a wonderful, affordable French dinner. I went by for lunch today and found its sister bistro, Saint Tropez open for lunch. I had Soup de poisson and a lovely pate. French rose. The service was slow due to the upcoming theater matinees creating a busy restaurant, but... More

we were in Toronto for a family weekend and happened upon this romantic cozy bistro. Delicious French onion soup and profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce and live music. Our server was attentive and even came to thank us for our visit. We will be back

Every year I visit this restaurant with my husband, as I like the French style; However, this year I've invited friends of mine and have booked table for four at 8:00 pm expecting live music as per the website after 6pm; there was none; I've asked the waitress two times about the musician and she assured me that there will... We have been here a couple of times and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We ordered off the board both times and the meals were on time, delicious and creative. We let them know we were attending a show and they had us out of there on time. They have a live nmusic act during dinner which is so... More

We came to this place by chance just after arriving in Toronto. Went there because it seemed charming from the outside, and definitely was it. Ended up being very good. Excellent service and very good food. Good live music. Don't know why it is so behind in TA list.

The live piano music was an unexpected plus. The food was high quality and well prepared. It was a little too noisy, but the service was perfect. Creme brulee among the best I've had.

We were here on Christmas night and this is the only decent restaurant near our hotel which is open. Not wanting to travel far for dinner and seeing some good reviews on Trip Advisor, we gave this a try. We ordered chef's specialties, calf liver and duck breast and a glass of red wine. As french restaurants, we thought these... More

I visited the St Tropez before attending a show at the Princess of Wales theatre with some friends. Although we had reservations, we showed up early and were greeted warmly at the door. Our first challenge was deciding what to order. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make some suggestions. I decided on the Boeuf... More
