We came to this place by chance just after arriving in Toronto. Went there because it seemed charming from the outside, and definitely was it. Ended up being very good. Excellent service and very good food. Good live music. Don't know why it is so behind in TA list.

The live piano music was an unexpected plus. The food was high quality and well prepared. It was a little too noisy, but the service was perfect. Creme brulee among the best I've had.

We were here on Christmas night and this is the only decent restaurant near our hotel which is open. Not wanting to travel far for dinner and seeing some good reviews on Trip Advisor, we gave this a try. We ordered chef's specialties, calf liver and duck breast and a glass of red wine. As french restaurants, we thought these... More

I visited the St Tropez before attending a show at the Princess of Wales theatre with some friends. Although we had reservations, we showed up early and were greeted warmly at the door. Our first challenge was deciding what to order. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make some suggestions. I decided on the Boeuf... More

This used to be one of my top favourite restaurants. It's situated like a cafe, with a wonderful singer on the piano, and friendly wait staff and good food, at decent prices. I went here with my husband and a friend, just before we were heading over to the theatre to watch The Book of Mormon (great play, btw). The... More

I can't say that food was bad, but it wasn't prepared the way they prepare this food in France (same dishes). It is of course very personal preference. The service wasn't too bad until we were paying, but far from pleasant. I am not very demanding customer and our ordering is really quick and we never ask for anything special... More

Close by to the theatre district, this neat little bistro offers solid value for the money and features an extensive menu that caters to nearly every taste. My wife and I were there on a Sunday evening recently prior to a theatre production and not only enjoyed the food, but the ambiance of the place plus the renditions on piano... More

The back courtyard is wonderful, the waiter was lovely (waitress looked bored, no smile), some food was really good, some not so much. Appetizers: I was excited to have escargot which I had not eaten in years, and was not disappointed in the Escargots à la Bourguignonne. Really good. My husband's Croquettes de Brie not so good - they looked... More

We stumbled upon Le Saint Tropez earlier in the day and after breakfast and were both intrigued by the menu and the beautiful French decor in the front diningroom. We returned for a late dinner without a reservation and were given a warm welcome and a roomy table near the piano player. She had a beautiful voice and we were... More
