Solid menu of traditional Indian food. Talk to the staff. Tell them what you like and they will put a dinner together for you. Nice and clean decor. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Do not expect some sort of Indian fusion, it is traditional.

After the theatre at the Royal Alexandra Theatre or Princess of Wales Theatres, or a movie at the TIFF Bell Lightbox,or before, this is a great spot for some wonderful Indian Food. We had the butter chicken and lamb saag, both of which were delicious. They also serve the refreshing Kingfisher beer. Service was bright and friendly although a dish... More

We went there three times in the week were visiting Toronto. The food is excellent. Our favorites are chicken Korma and Butter Chicken with naan bread and potato paratha bread. The value is very good. The staff are super attentive and friendly. The owner is Nepalese as are all of the staff. We will back again when we return to... More

Only problem was a lot of stairs to get in and to use the washroom. So it is not disable friendly. Needs washroom on main floor at least.

I have been in this restaurant almost four times with all my family, the food is good, price, quality and situation in downtown Toronto. We have enjoyed the food all the times. The food is no too spicy. I recommend AROMA for people that ilke typical Indian Cuisine.

We have tried a few Indian restaurants in Toronto that delivers to your home. I must say that AROMA is one of the best I've had but, not only the food was delicious and warm when it arrives. The delivery service was exceptional! Only because the delivery person cared enough to give us a call while caught in traffic that... More

I had a craving for Indian food during my most recent visit to Toronto so I reached out to a friend for a recommendation. Since I was staying downtown and didn't want to "cab it" I needed a place close to the Fairmont Royal York. My buddy suggested Aroma and he didn't lead me astray. I loved it. The service... More

Someone in an earlier review described the food as good honest Indian and i would have to agree. We had several curries and nan. All was very good. They do a great nan which is better than most. The wait staff are attentive and helpful. Recommend you give it a go and make up your own mind.
