Great local pizza

I love the pizza from Mama's. It's thin crust, deliciousness. Not the speediest delivery so make sure you call well before you need them to show up at your door. It's not 30 minutes or free... But very worth the wait. Love the mediterranean..

Worst pizza ever, frozen is way better. Have always loved pizza and dont usually order delivery but was convinced by a visiting friend that Mammas was amazing. Ordered online from Yonge and Bloor store, requested large with 3 toppings, thin crust well done in a package deal with wings and garlic bread and who knew it could be so awful. Was delivered... We prefer to order from Mamma's Pizza when we want take-out pizza because we find that they have a better crust. The ingredients of the pizza seem to be more fresh compared to the Pizza Pizza across the street. We find their pizza's to be generally of better quality. But I think they will have some serious competition given that... More

We ordered pizza tonight and it arrived 1.5 hours late and COLD. The driver was rude to my wife and when we called to see what the company can do to resolve the issue, the person on the phone was apologetic and offered a $5 credit. I would rather call Pizza Pizza. We get a more reliable service from them... More

Stopped there while walking around Yonge Street. Had the deluxe pizza which was hot and nice flavor. Would definitely eat there again!

Pizza's are very personal. Some like a thick crust and some like a thin crust. For me the thinner the better as long as the crust is tasty. Mamma's Pizza didn't disappoint me in any way. I'm not from Toronto and when I was visiting during the Christmas Holidays my son took me to Mamma's for a slice of Pizza.... More

Ordered the Meat Amore (meat lover's) pizza along with the suicide chicken wings and blue cheese sauce on the side... Delivery is not fast (takes between and hour and an hour and a half) but the quality of the pizza is worth the wait.

Since moving here, I've been on a constant search to find good, NY style pizza. This place is the best I've found so far. Crispy yet chewy crust, greasy without being too oily & they are not shy with the cheese. They have all of your basic toppings plus an assortment of "gourmet" offerings such as sun dried tomatoes, feta... More

Staying in East York

Neighborhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
