Ive been there for brunch and it was fantastic. I had waiter Abby and she was really nice and helpful. I ordered fettuccine with cream sauce and some add-ons. My meal was ready really quick and i truly enjoyed it. One of the best pastas i ever had.

We are regulars at The Ultimate Cafe before our Mirvish theatre night out. The restaurant is cosy and friendly with a modern touch of sophistication. The pasta dishes are delicious, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Salads are crisp and fresh an the desserts are tempting and tasty. They also have choices of draft on tap. Service is friendy and... More

I've been to Ultimate Cafe many times in the past 3 or 4 years. It has become a favourite before theatre for us. I can't understand why it is seldom busy ... I almost hesitate to write a good review in case we suddenly can't get in without waiting. But I see other good reviews here. The menu is mostly... More

We really enjoyed the food at this cafe on King Street right across from the Princess of Wales Theatre. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. We were able to sit at a table with a view of the street and look out for our sister in law who was meeting us.

we just visited this place on Sunday at around 6 pm. We decided to go in because the young guy at the door was very nice and friendly. There was only one table occupied when we walked in. That should have been the first warning sign. The second was the menu, it seemed a little all over the place with... More

It must be the new trend, a price fixed meal of 3 courses for a pre-set price. More than enough food. We were hungry so we went early to King Street and looked at most of the restaurants before deciding on the Ultimate Cafe. Wise choice. It was $35 Canadian for a 3 course meal, drinks & taxes separate. Because... More

If I had seen the reviews on trip advisor I would have avoided the place. 8 of us just tried it on a whim while walking down King St West. We all had excellent food and compared to the surrounding restaurants, the food was reasonably priced. I am guess this is a hit and miss place by the reviews. We... More

My sister and I wanted to get brunch and the menu looked good. The problem was there was only one chef and it took 55 minutes to get a omelette and salmon on a bagel. When the people next to us complained they received their food ahead of us cause they said they would leave. We were given $3 off... More
