I left hungry....

4 of us went for dinner during Winterlicious.. because of traffic and weather we were running late. I called and told them we would be about 30 minutes late for our 6:30 reservation. I was told the next reservation for the table was 8:45. I said that was no problem, we wouldn't linger. We got all 3... read more

We went there for a late Winterlicious dinner, on a week night. There were a few people there, but it was far from being busy. The service was relatively poor. We first got the appetizer in a timely fashion (borsht soup, good, but small amount), and then had to wait 40 minutes to get the main dish. After getting our... More

Took a few friends here for lunch one day. Overall the food was fine - average and nothing particularly special. The price for what we received was atrocious! $20 for 5 (large) meatless perogies! There are MUCH better venues in Toronto at a better price. Also, the menu isn't exact. We ordered the caeser salad and instead of the parmesan... More

Trendy polish food. Unbelievable perogies. A little pricey but likely the best I've ever had. Amazing service/friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. Will go back.

I was walking a lot on Queen St West, a great street for exploring, and I needed a beer. I dropped in, asked 'Can I get a beer here?', and pretty soon I was sitting in the window seat, admiring the view, and drinking a chilled wheat beer. Great beer, great service. There is a really nice patio as well.... More

We ate at Czehoski while we were on a business trip--excellent food and good portions! We had a chance to chat with the chef and sous chef, both of whom talked about their new menu and seasonal dishes. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

We travelled approximately 30 miles through rush hour traffic to get to Czeholski on Queen Street West, Toronto. Arriving exactly on time for our reservation we advised the waiter that we had a groupon coupon for two and was advised that because of Summerlicious they weren't honoring the groupon coupons that we had already paid for. So we ordered from... More

The food is dreadful. On the recommendation of a review in Toronto Life, we tried this restaurant, interestedin the Polish themed cuisine. The perogies were made with ground beef (!) that was at once dried out and watery, and the perogy dough was dry and tasteless, as if it was made the day before. The cabbage rolls were tasteless, and... More

Along that street, there are many restaurants that look and sound the same. You could swap signs and probably few would notice. Czehoski is ok. We found it on a local info book that put it in the top 10 of Toronto restaurants. No. That must have been a paid ad. It's casual and the menu reflects that. Unfortunately, so... More

We were here for an early dinner on a Sunday evening. We chose not to sit on the patio as it was too sunny, so we sat upstairs by the window overlooking Queen St. There was no one else in our area, and as a result, service was slow for us as they were probably serving people on the the... More
