Visited for early morning coffee. At 09:20 they had no food, coffee was average, service was rubbish. Seriously not worth the walk from the water front.

We visited this place after checking a list of places selling the best Latte in the city from last year according to Now Magazine. When we got there I was surprised at how small the place was and how 'meh' the ambiance was. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino and the barista told us that those were actually the... More

Sadly, all of the comments regarding the owner of this place are true. I was a regular at this place for at least a couple of years, meeting up with friends or having meetings, when I threw in the towel due to the inability of the owner to treat his customers properly. And by proper, I mean with respect and... More

Terrible service. Very rude, ill-bred, crude, nonprofessional, with bad manners, THE MOST STUPID Owner......

Good to find an independent coffee shop with talented barista's and great coffee... there is a cooler with lots of unusual homebaked sweets tucked away on a small street just off Church and Carlton. Outdoor seating is available and a small inside seating area. You can also buy thier coffee to take home. Worth a visit just for the coffee.

The coffee is terrible, the worst cappuccino i've ever had. It was very milky and it was too hot I burnt my tongue!. I've been to many of Toronto's cafes and for a "third wave" espresso bar their standards are pretty low!. The owner scoffed at me when I didn't tip, tips are EARNED they are not mandatory!.

Have been a couple times and always amazed by the drinks. The owner has won various awards for all of his concoctions. Almond croissants are also to die for! A little pricey but the drinks are worth it! Great for a warm summers day as there is seating also outside (quite small inside).

The coffee is fine however the owner really needs a lesson in how to retain his customers. Owners can not expect tips in their tip jar.it a faux pas to give your customers dirty looks who don't thrown change in your jar, so for that I won't return.

If you're looking for a quick coffee spot just for reading or on the go, then this is an option. However, this cafe with minimal seating offers no Wi-Fi, no plug-ins for laptops, accepts only cash and proclaims to offer divine hot chocolate that is far less than par.

Stuart is an orginal - both in opening a coffee shop with a quality product served with care and in his wonderful, gregarious personality. The coffees are wonderful, sizes are good for the prices charges, and some of the baked goods are "homemade" on the premises. The other staff share Stuart's enthusasim for brewing delicious coffee. I have only been... More
