Excellent Shawarma!!

I tried this place for the first time and I will be going back. Great beef shawarma and nicely spiced. Prices are very good and their selection of desserts are pretty good as well.

Time to time we visit this location, and it is always busy with line ups. Very tasted and well priced (2 for 1). Usually I try one beef and one chicken, especially spicy sauce is very good. I do recommend.

Ive been going here for over 10 years. The shawarmas are moderately priced and the food is exceptional. Excellent options for vegetarians as well. Fallafel hummus and tabouli salad. YUM!!!

Have been here a number of times. Food has always been great, especially the shawarma. Prices are very reasonable and customer service top-notch.

I work in the area and there are a ton of shawarma places, but this is the go to spot. Fresh, tasty, and priced right. This place get's really busy at noon but the line moves pretty quick.

We love this place. We've had the beef shawarmas before and they are really good; however, we love the falafels. Great taste, lovely spicy sauce and pickled turnips. The service is always friendly, polite and fast. And you can't beat the price.

I've been coming to Shawarma Empire every 2 weeks for at least 5 years. I've tried many on Lawrence and downtown and in 'Sauga and out of T.O. These guys are the top IMO. Busy place and close shortly after dinner, but I know that they will repeat time after time. Offers both chicken and beef in regards to meat... More

On a recent trip to Toronto I found myself craving both shawarma and falafel - middle eastern food is non-existent where I live. Shawarma Empire was recommended to me and they did not disappoint! I satisfied both of my cravings and the food was outstanding! I will definitely visit again when I am in Toronto again.

I am a shawarma lover and went to this place based on the reviews and I must say, I am not pleased. The shawarma is very small than usual but they have a 2 for 1 special which makes it worth the price. I love spicy sauce on my shawarma and their spicy sauce is awful. Although it did have... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighborhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
