I read about this restaurant on here and went for take out with x3 friends. The waitress convinced me to go for the blue fin tuna belly (amongst other things) and I wasn't disappointed. Every element of the sushi we ordered was produced with care and attention -to a really high level. I've eaten a lot of sushi and this... More

Took my brother for his birthday here. One of the best places to have sushi in downtown Toronto. We took the Chef's menu and it didn't disappoint. The Blue fin was absolutely fabulous but even the routine salmon and tuna were fresh and delicious. The rolls are perfect. I have paid a lot more for not nearly as good sushi... More

That's a tiny cute little place with very limited seats. Sushi and sashimi are fabulous and very fresh. On Mondays and Thursdays you can sometimes find fantastic live sea urchins! Very good!!

visited the place again. very good sushi. very good service. Only 9 small tables with every body talking, it is quite noisy. But the Japango roll is worth a visit again and again. Must have reservation.

i am a regular here and I'm never disappointed. Japango is a small place on a side street behind city hall, but the sushi and sashimi are among the best in Toronto. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly.

Staff are incredibly welcoming at this authentic establishment. Our dishes were fresh and tasty, and served quickly. The restaurant is very small, so you won't enjoy any degree of privacy at your table.

This place is my favorite sushi in Toronto.. Simply fresh tasty sushi. I've been to this place tons of times and it never disappoints and the standards are always high. They welcome you with a cup if green tea and miso soup. My favorites are the gyoza, the Alaska and japango rolls.. All their rolls are delicious. The place is... More

I went here with some coworkers for lunch. While I was warned about how tiny this place was from previous reviews, I had no idea extremely tiny it was. They had given away our reservation after we showed up late but that wasn't a big problem and we understood their need to seat everyone. My advice would be to go... More

Went to Japango for the first time last week. It was really, really good. Me and my friends could have just kept ordering. Everything was delicious. We ordered one of the Chef's suggestions - sardine - and it was simply amazing. Really recommend it if you like sushi!

Guided by the reviews on Tripadvisor my friend and I decided to try this restaurant. Not having made a reservation, we were lucky to get in with the turnover of guests. Service is prompt and friendly, and the sushi is very good (the house special japango sushi delicious). When we left a new group of people was already queing up.... More
