Visited for lunch during the Christmas break. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent vegetarian dim sum selection available. They also have great entrees, and sushi. We also had a tasty soup, and some barbequed seitan. The best addition to this restaurant is an area to purchase a variety of the vegan dishes that are on the menu that are... More

Went here with a friend, and I was pretty impressed! Its an all vegetarian restaurant (as the name implies) and I was blown away. The food was so tasty, and the portions were a good size. I'd definitely recommend the soy nuggets (tasted almost like chicken nuggets!). The service was a little slow, and the atmosphere could use some work,... More

I had a break in Toronto last week and finished my stay with a meal at this wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food prepared was to a very high standard. An excellent restaurant to visit during your stay in Toronto. After the meal I travelled by car to Pearson airport 30 minutes drive away.

We always make a stop at this restaurant when in Toronto. All of the food is vegetarian and very good. Be prepared for slow service and tasty food. (We love the neighborhood as well.).

Find a high quality vegan restaurant in Toronto that happens to also be reasonably priced is not easy to come by. This is one of them. It's Asian cuisine with a pretty extensive and easy to read menu. The food you get is always beautiful and delicious. Me and my friends have been here many times and every time we've... More

from my blog: http://allmynosh.com/2012/10/09/kings-cafe-kensington-market-toronto-ontario-canada/ Ambience and Service The restaurant was reasonably decorated. It has a contemporary feel but lacked ambience and warmth. On the plus side, the place is very clean and bright. The service was average. When we arrived the restaurant was mostly empty. There were two servers and we were seated promptly. The servers were professional but I... More

So many options, so few dollars, so much satisfaction. If you're in Kensington market, this might not be your first choice, but once you catch the vibe, you'll know what you're in for. Does the trick!

My sister-in-law is vegan and cannot eat wheat. She just moved to Toronto and suggested that we eat here because most dishes are vegan, and some are gluten-free. We have now done so, twice, the second time without her because we were so impressed with the food. This morning we ordered dim sum: superb. We had a barbeque roll, sui... More

In among the busy market stores is gentle and serene restaurant with good vegetarian food. I am not a vegetarian but I enjoy the fare. We usually order the "Bento" boxes because the main dish comes with soup, salad, deep fried vegetables and rice. The food seems very fresh and the sauces are plain but flavourful. The only thing we... More

went there twice during a recent visit - and loved everything. The rice-paper wrapped starters with noodles and vegetables inside were superb, fresh and different. My kung-po not-chicken was likewise superb, and the veggie sushi was amazing. I'm a meat eater and could happily eat everything on this menu. The black bean dessert was brilliant too. Staff were very attentive,... More
