Nice drinks here, lungs pricy though.

We stopped by here for some pick-me-up drinks after several hours touring Casa Loma. We ordered the berry buzz spritzer, a chocolaty smoothie, and the electric green juice. All three were delicious, though my daughter did not care for the dried flowers floating on top of the spritzer. The... read more

I went here with a friend for dinner prior to going to Casa Loma. This place is located right outside the Dupont subway station fyi. The menu is extensive and I landed on the falafel wrap. When it arrived, it was a lot smaller than I anticipated. It was flavourful but I have had better. My friend ordered one of... More

I think I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all amazing. The service is great and it's in a nice spot. The takeout location is great too.

I am not a vegetarian but I love organic ingredients. I do not miss the meat at all here. The mushroom appetizer is flavourful, delightfully seasoned and rather large, so sharing works well. The raw beet burger was amazing...sadly my daughter ordered it, so I only got a taste. The bowl salads are full of ingredients that blend nicely. Then... More

It started in summer 2013, when we accidentally entered to this restaurant to hide from the rain. I was sceptic about vegan/raw food and ordered something small, but it was so delicious that we ordered another two times. Recently me and my wife decided to go vegan (after watching Forks Over Knives). So,each time we are near Casa Loma, this... More

I never thought I would love food from a vegan restaurant. I was not excited about going to this place at all, but I am so glad I decided to go. It was amazing! The servers were very helpful when we were looking at the menu. Everyone loved the food that we ordered. The chickpea falafel was delicious and very... More

When in Toronto I try to have a meal here. It's great for vegans and vegetarians. Last night 4 of us dined there. Always good food and good service. There's a comfortable back patio as well as the interior part of the restaurant. We share a large appetizer, and each person had a different meal. All was good. Dear Live... More

This is our gourmet go to place for healthy but delicious fare. If you have compromised between the two, Live will free you from having to compromise. Well seasoned, creative ingredients and excellent portions and wide range of choices. The juices are a meal in and of themselves.

If you are looking for an exciting and satisfying brunch that does not leave you wanting to sleep away the rest of your day then head to Live. I have never had a bad experience there. The burdock burrito is my fav but you cannot go wrong with any of the menu choices. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
