Reluctant to try Live, boy am I glad I did. The food was great, fresh and made with food I had never tried before. Great experience and I will definately go back.

My daughter is a vegetarian and my cousin was visiting from California so we decided to go to Live. The staff are very friendly and suggested we sit in the patio. What a great place! an oasis in the middle of Toronto. I would highly recommend patio seating if it is not raining. There is the occasional train which is... More

Great food selection. Tasty salads, amazing dressings and dips! Dessert selection is also delicious (try almond dream squares) and pink lemonde is a great thirst quencher! Top patio spot too with cute herb garden! Service is friendly and fast. Staff are very accomodating!

I was excited to try this restaurant. When I got there, it was pretty full except for one large table that was reserved and a small table for 2 right next to it. I wanted that table. I didn't get it. Why? I don't know. After trying to get the waitress' attention several times (I was the only one standing... More

As a vegan I thought of raw food as probably my omnivore friends thing about vegan food that it is all green leaves. Last time I had a great vegan dish, but this time I took their raw combo and was amazed! Raw food can actually be very interesting, tasty and very beautifully presented! If you are into trying new... The atmosphere was very pleasant, and we enjoyed staying and talking. The food was good, also the servings were rather small especially relative to the price.

The selection was extensive which made it hard to decide (good problem to have) so my dinner partner and I settled on sharing everything - 1 soup, 1 salad, 1 appetizer and a main. Not only was everything delicious, the portions were so generous we couldn't finish it all. Sweet potato soup (cooked), pad Thai (raw), epic size power greens... More

My husband and I are not vegetarians, but do love organic food and occasionally eat tofu quite happily. We appreciated being able to have a healthy meal; although we overate, it did not feel unpleasant, and there was a lingering good aftertaste, unlike when one overeats "traditional" unhealthy food. The food isn't cheap: $48 for 1 appetizer and 2 mains... More

My first time to a raw restaurant - thoroughly enjoyed - I had the toasted as and they were terrific! My dessert was also wonderful. Service was good - parking on the street.

Just across the street from the DuPont subway station, it's a great stop for lunch if you're visiting Casa Loma. Their food is terrific and they have a nice assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The patio is medium sized with plenty of couple seating and room for small groups. Next time I'm in Toronto, I'm heading for Live.
