We are always delighted with the Auberge, however this time was just extraordinary. Each course for each person was outstanding. Appetizers were, black cod, a mushroom and egg dish and lobster. The black cod was to die for. Mains were suckling pork, halibut and veal. I loved the types of pork which were exceedingly tasty and tender. Wine recommendations were... More

Auberge Du Pommier has no qualms about being a 'traditional French restaurant' and, for the most part, succeeds very well. Starting with canapes (nothing spectacular but tasty all the same), followed by delicious 'hand crafted' breads and an artichoke 'spread' which was lemony and lovely but would have been enhanced by some little dishes of butter (although the French don't... We went there and their food is good. Atmosphere is excellent for couple. It is a little pit pricey and it worth. However the service is not as good as what we expected.

Fine dining with excellent service. Ambience very very nice but it is not a quiet environment. The food we are were gastro creations, both to sight and taste. The service was second to none.

We booked Auberge du Pommier for our anniversary dinner a few months ago. We usually have one meal in an expensive restaurant every few weeks, and we wanted a very special experience this time. The restaurant is in a old house surrounded by office towers and large avenues - not the kind of setting you expect such an expensive restaurant... More

When I first read the reviews and looked at the menu I wasn't sure about this restaurant. The décor is nice and immediately when you walk in you feel you're at a high end restaurant. They take your coats and bring the chit to you at your table. Our waiter was professional yet engaging. I guess they believe we won't... More

I've been here a number of times and it is ALWAYS excellent. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Everything I've ever had has been great. This time I had the soup...squash with Chantilly and black pasta with steamed seafood. Just great!

I went to the Auberge for a sponsored dinner for work... From the moment you walk in, the place quietly reminds you that the bill will be pricey. It has a great ambience (especially for a fancy romantic dinner), nice decor, and very friendly staff. The food was definitely good, I had no complaints per se (we had a cheese... More

I had not been to l'Auberge du Pommier in years. It is certainly one of the best experiences to be had in Toronto. The food is outstanding, as is the service: helpful but not obsequious. The atmosphere is charming, with several rooms and the tables well spaced for private conversation. They have two tasting menus (one vegetarian) to be shared... More

My son gave us a gift card to the Auberge du Pommier for Christmas last year, and we finally got around to using it. A rather unassuming location in the midst of a commercial development, but an extremely nice place with wonderful atmosphere. The staff were excellent (although the sommelier simply poured the wine he recommended without giving us the... More
