We had my birthday celebration there, and it surely didn't disappoint. If you are not against eating Foie Gras, this is the place to try; we ordered the lamb it just melted metled(!) in your mouth, had French onion soup, was very light but surprisingly tasty; the staff were courteous yet attentive. I noticed some of their menu has been... More

The staff and chef have changed with a high turnaround, but the service and food remain excellent. we had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The wine selection was fantastic and the new sommelier did an incredible job. there was not a single wine that was not well thought out and excellent. the fois gras is not a good as... More

The food was incredible and the staff were absolutely outstanding with a good sense of humor. Every course was delicious, especially dessert. Everyone in our larger group was happy with our meal. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant inside, although the bathrooms were particularly cold.

Not inexpensive but a better value now for US diners with US dollars. Excellent food and service, outside city center.

My wedding reception was held here in 1988 and it still remains a stand out restaurant. It was one of the first of it's kind but now faces competition from other very fine downtown establishments. It is quite far from the downtown area but well worth the drive.

We have been going to Auberge for many years...special occasions, New Year's eve etc. We recently celebrated New Year's eve there again and were wowed by the food as usual but wanted to review the experience. This is the first time we took our 11 year old son to a restaurant of this calibre, as it's difficult to gauge how... More

It's hard to find a more eloquent and consistent dining experience. The fixed prix menu and countless chef's tastings filled the 3 hours to New Years in a flash. A couple of the chef's tastings were exotic beyond my taste but well executed. We've always loved this venue and will continue to return here often.

We are always delighted with the Auberge, however this time was just extraordinary. Each course for each person was outstanding. Appetizers were, black cod, a mushroom and egg dish and lobster. The black cod was to die for. Mains were suckling pork, halibut and veal. I loved the types of pork which were exceedingly tasty and tender. Wine recommendations were... More

Auberge Du Pommier has no qualms about being a 'traditional French restaurant' and, for the most part, succeeds very well. Starting with canapes (nothing spectacular but tasty all the same), followed by delicious 'hand crafted' breads and an artichoke 'spread' which was lemony and lovely but would have been enhanced by some little dishes of butter (although the French don't... We went there and their food is good. Atmosphere is excellent for couple. It is a little pit pricey and it worth. However the service is not as good as what we expected.
