Went for a small business meal, all the other Excellent reviews are spot-on; an all together great experience. Parking is not perfectly obvious - it is underground entered by going down a ramp in the "middle" of the small development the restaurant sits in front. The restaurant décor is both open while having appropriate dividing walls between rooms. A good... More

"Auberge du Pommier" is wonderfully situated in the "hills" of York Mills. Originally it consisted of 2 cottages that were united and became one restaurant. The inn has still this very country feeling and makes for a great outing for city dwellers. The food was although good it was not the "classic" dishes one expects. The "risotto" was not made... More

Cannot fault this restaurant. We entertained our friends who we had been staying with and who we were delighted to be able to take to this really superb restaurant. We have been here before several years ago and a second visit did not disappoint. Menu is excellent, wine list is extensive and excellent and the service is attentive without being... More

We chose the 7-course tasting menus (there are two, one of which is vegetarian), with wine pairings. Both were a great culinary experience with each dish a true visual pleasure. The service was excellent , the timing of the courses perfect, the atmosphere relaxed and sophisticated. This perfection naturally comes with a price.

We went to l'auberge last night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening the reception and wait staff made us feel welcome and the following diner was superb .To my mind l'auberge is the standard bearer of what a 5 star restaurant should be. On the negative 1 hour and15 minutes we were done on the positive this gave us time to... More

We went there for my birthday last year. We waited 40 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The hostess offered to bring us a glass of wine 20 minutes after our arrival and completely forgot to serve it. Dishes were heavy handed. We got an apology from the manager after reminding them of the wine fiasco and got... More

We recently had lunch here and loved every morsel. The restaurant is just north of the city and in a lovely old renovated building.

It simply does not come any better in Toronto. I have not been to the restaurant for a while, which I do regret, because it is exquisite. Go there for a special occasion. It is not cheap by any means, but it is worth every cent. The service is excellent and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is warm and upscale with crisp... More

It has been awhile since we last ate at this restaurant. As shown in the photo of a meal plate, the servings are in appetizer portions. Good tasting food, with sample sizes & high end prices. We will not return to this restaurant again, gave it two tries!
