I've been here a number of times and it is ALWAYS excellent. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Everything I've ever had has been great. This time I had the soup...squash with Chantilly and black pasta with steamed seafood. Just great!

I went to the Auberge for a sponsored dinner for work... From the moment you walk in, the place quietly reminds you that the bill will be pricey. It has a great ambience (especially for a fancy romantic dinner), nice decor, and very friendly staff. The food was definitely good, I had no complaints per se (we had a cheese... More

I had not been to l'Auberge du Pommier in years. It is certainly one of the best experiences to be had in Toronto. The food is outstanding, as is the service: helpful but not obsequious. The atmosphere is charming, with several rooms and the tables well spaced for private conversation. They have two tasting menus (one vegetarian) to be shared... More

My son gave us a gift card to the Auberge du Pommier for Christmas last year, and we finally got around to using it. A rather unassuming location in the midst of a commercial development, but an extremely nice place with wonderful atmosphere. The staff were excellent (although the sommelier simply poured the wine he recommended without giving us the... More

It's very rare that everything falls into place when dining out, but at Auberge Du Pommier it is not unusual at all. We ate "outside" in their covered patio. It was spectacular. The food was exceptional, the service impeccable. Mind you, you do pay for this dining experience. There is nothing inexpensive about Auberge Du Pommier, but if you really... More

I have been going there for the past few years and i can say, with certainty, that it is one of the best restaurants in the city. It is pricy but if you can afford it, the food and service are worth it.

If you love French food and a great ambiance and experience, this is a terrific restaurant. Its not cheap, but the food is tasty, good service, good parking, and centrally located. Great for special occasions, and I've had work-related functions there in both their private rooms which are quite nice.

The restaurant was crowded with tables too close together. Service was slow and inattentive. Waiters seemed terribly rushed. Fixed price menu was uninteresting. Cost for a cup of tea was exorbitant. Hope this isn't representative of the normal qualify of food and service during the rest of the year.

We recently had lunch at Auberge du Pommier. We were totally taken aback by the presence of this little ornate rustic house housed within lush greenery. Upon walking in the double glass doors the immediate ambiance hits you, it spells an European, French home par elegance. There is a display of expansive wines in the lobby area, an attentive maitre'D.... More
