Too expensive for the quality of the food

The restaurant was nice, the employee were professional and nice. The sea food was great, the salad was excellent, but the duck and steak were not good at all. Over all I think for the price they charge the food and experience should have been a lot better than this. I do not think I would go there... read more

Ate here with a friend on her recommendation. Everything we ordered was excellent - the Singapore style slaw, Korean beef, cheeseburger spring rolls (yes really) and oh my goodness the duck pancakes were to die for. However, the service felt a little rushed - the concept is sharing plates but we were barely through one before the next arrived so... More

We had a dinner for 5 at this restaurant during a recent trip to Toronto and everyone enjoyed the food and, especially, the interesting cocktails such as Saketini, Lee Lemonade, and Basil Gin Summer Mojito -- watch out though, each of these costs $16-$18. The waiter was friendly and although he suggested that we just let him pick the dishes... More

I was taken here as a guest for a business meal and was reading the menu when the waiter comes in like a bulldozer and recommends we all go for his food selection oblivious to the wishes of the guests. The guy was a drama Queen who basically ruined the experience and wouldn't leave us in peace. We wanted to... More

The food was ok, but a very small twist on what was available at many Susur "inspired" venues. Our server Dan, I recall at the time, gave us the impression he was "too cool for school" and we should feel lucky to be there. This attitude was mirrored in the venue as we were squished in like cattle. This cramming... More

My husband and I went there for a Valentine's day, it was a set six course menu, well, it was absolutely delicious, everything they brought was exquisite, amazing drinks.

I'll start off with the fact that friends of ours who are huge Chef Lee fans made the reservation. So the fact that Chef Lee was at the restaurant and visiting tables made it a starstruck night. The photo of my friend with Chef Lee that is now her profile picture completely topped it off. We requested the shared tasting... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
