Exceptional food and atmosphere!

It's been a while since I last came here but I was in Toronto for business and was staying in the hotel so ate here both with room service as well as in the restaurant. I was with 3 other business associates and we asked our server to bring out tons of different sushi platters. He brought out several types... More

Went for lunch yesterday with 3 friends, good choice of cocktails and setting very nice but food disappointing (fries cold and burnt), not great value for lunch. Was looking forward to the lunch but was disappointed in quality of food that was served to me.

Well…..once again,we're thrilled with our favourite place to hang out, The Drake Hotel in Toronto. We absolutely fell in love with the 'lobster nachos' that we had on one of our stays at the Drake. So tonight, when we wanted to go our for dinner, we decided to once again visit the Drake and have those incredible nachos. We not... More

When we last left Ryan our intrepid bartender he was helping at the Devonshire, the Drake's new Prince Edward county gem. Ryan is back at the Drake and the mild mannered barista at the bar held our attention with some impeccable old school Hemingway-esque rum cocktails, and original fizz drinks. After some supper on in house made bread and such,... More

Fun place for a casual Sunday brunch with friends. Great variety on the menu, the Benny's are all great but my favourite is the fried chicken and waffles. Service was okay, fast and efficient but not very friendly.

Our first time at the drake hotel we made reservations for a birthday party reserved a table for 6 pm for 12 people upon entering the servers were nice and the place is beautiful. Very elegant in set up. We were seated . What we did not like was that we had to order off of a pre selected menu.... More

We went with our kid and nieces expecting a Zombie Brunch, but the only Zombie-like thing was a couple of servers behind the bar wearing make up. There was no special decoration and no special items on the menu. I checked on an old post about the Zombie Brunch from 2012, when there was a special menu and it certainly... More

Queen St West is arguably the most hipster street in Toronto and our host recommended the Drake Hotel for brunch. We found the atmosphere to be very casual and welcoming. The menu was full of brunch basics but each were presented in quirky ways. For example, my BAT (bacon, avocado, tomato) came de-constructed, all beautifully laid out on the plate.... More

This is a restaurant that is definitely appealing to a very trendy, young customer. There is a lot of hustle bustle and energetic chatter going on. The menu is eclectic with unusual choices to decide on. My friend and I shared the ribs...they were tasty but didn't have much meat on them. We each had an entre salad which was... More
