Went to celebrate my friends b'day, there were 8 of us, and the waitress forget some of the order, I had to get up 3 times to find her to order drinks then to top it off my friends tea arrived with gum attached to the bottom of her cup. DISGUSTING. Wonder if they actually wash the dishes there. Never... More

Sunday brunch at the Drake has become a tradition in our family. The first thing we do when we visit our children in Toronto is to make a reservation for a Sunday brunch at the Drake. Even the little ones of 5 and 2 count on it...What makes the Drake so special is their relaxed and understated atmosphere that makes... More

My friend and I went after dinner to have a drink, what an incredible vibe, nice music (played first by a Dj), good environment, and the decoration absolutely caught my attention, what a style! Vintage is a signature I'll always appreciate. Cool staff, at the bar and at the table, good service and cold drinks; I'll definitely will come back... More

Went for an early brunch with friends on a fine Summer Sunday morning. Ordered Americano coffee, a tall bloody mary and the 'Fresh Fruit & Yogurt' for a healthy $9.95. Satisfying meal, attributable mostly to the presence of friends.

We spotted this place by chance as we drove by. We were fitted in on an outdoor patio, which was atmospheric and blended in quite nicely with the local evening scene. The steak and burgers was just what we needed. The patio became dark and some lighting would have improved things a little. I am sure the place does other... More

My wife and I came into the city, and it's Tuesday. A concert and before hand at the Drake. Outstanding food, outstanding service. Non pretentious. Still almost a hidden gem, go...have sushi, have a cocktail or two. Enjoy. We did.

Went there a couple weeks ago. This review is not of the hotel but of the bar. On a positive note the venue is attractive and chic. Really liked the set up and style. Additionally the photo booth they had. However I found it to be overly crowed to the the point it was overwhelming and annoying with the amount... More

The hostess was quite welcoming. Our server was very helpful with the menu. I was surprised when told that we were being seated in a smoking section. I said "Pardon"? I did not know that smoking was legal in a restaurant in Toronto even when seated on an outdoor patio. Food was good and service was excellent!!
