Our larger group had the pleasure of dining in the private wine cellar room at Adega which was great as our dinner party was kind of loud. Food was great, service was a little slow at first.

Adega has a really nice atmosphere. Food was tasty but felt the staff where maybe over stretched, busy night ....didn't get offered wine until first course arrived ( I had to ask)

This is a Portuguese restaurant on Elm street, just north of the Eaton centre. Their main specialty is fish which they cook and serve well. The food is very good both in taste and value. The only comment to make is that our waiter spoke extremely fast when describing the extras on the menu and even as native english speakers... More

We love Portuguese food found this by chance as it is quite close to our hotel. We had a superb meal, great presentation and first class wine list . Could not fault it in any way.

Had delicious spicy shrimp as appetizer. Chorizto sausage appetizer was okay but somewhat bland. Fish stew was full of seafood in a tomato-based broth. It was good comfort food but not memorable.

We had dinner at Adega after reading Zagat and TripAdvisor, and weren't disappointed. Probably the standout was the dessert special, which was this incredibly light, fluffy ... tower of goodness whose name I forget. But the octopus in an octopus and pork belly appetizer was very good (the pork belly was a touch oversalted in the opinion of the person... More

This is not an expensive, snooty type of place. It serves very good food, with excellent ingredients, and gives you attentive and professional service. All at a very wallet-friendly price tag. How do you beat that? Three of us dined here, and the total bill, including tax but before tip, came to $140. Not bad eh? They offer a fixed... More

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Adega's. The restaurant has a pleasant, relaxing and quiet ambience. The wait staff is excellent: helpful, friendly and unobtrusively attentive. The food was superb: really fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend trying Adega's during a visit to Toronto. It's probably best to make a reservation.

Great grilled Octopus and the calamari is huge, fresh and thankfully not fried! We asked our waiter to recommend a good bottle of Portuguese wine to pair with our entrees. My husband ordered the seafood soup course and liked it as well. I think this restaurant is a bit overpriced but the food is excellent and I would eat there... More
