This is an expensive, upscale restaurant that was an unusual choice for a diner such as myself, but we were here for a small family birthday dinner for someone other than myself. I'll cut to the chase - I'm not real comfortable being sir'd all the way through a meal. I got a lot of sirs, quite a few plate... More

Would definitely recommend. Varied and authentic Portuguese menu; fresh ingredients and (almost) perfectly prepared. I only say "almost" because my wife's beef tenderloin was slightly overcooked. Otherwise, the appetizers, mains (including fish) and dessert for all 3 in our party were all perfect. Ambiance and service were both exceptional. Portions were surprisingly generous for such a fine restaurant. We gave... More

Doesn't look much from outside but the welcome and the food are really worthwhile. Not expensive but not short on quality. Do try the local wine - its so good! Definitely would revisit if returning to Toronto!

I am glad we choose to dine at this quaint place. We were warmly greeted and through out the whole dining experience we were made to feel very special. My first ever Portuguese dining experience. The menu has great selection, emphasizing seafood. Pre dinner olives are to die for - sun dried Moroccan olives, very subtle and sweet. There was... More

We went to Adega for dinner last night and I have to say I was so impressed I will be going back again next month with my entire family. There are limited Portuguese restaurants in Toronto so when my boyfriend found this restaurant we knew we had to try it! The seafood is incredibly - there is right the right... More

Had the opportunity to share a quite dinner with a colleague at this little gem last night. It was my first experience eating Portuguese food. As a seafood lover, was immediately attracted to their Octopus special. Colleague had two apps...scallops and sardines, both were well prepared and tasty. My Octopus was very interesting, flavorful as all get out and a... More

having visited Portugal on many occasions and had the opportunity to eat in some extremely good Portuguese restaurants over the years Adega manages to capture the essence of Portugal extremely well. The food and service was excellent and indeed as other reviewers have mentioned the wine choice from the waiter was excellent. couple of tips to mention; Ask for the... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant since we were looking for seafood. The meal was very good, and Portuguese selections were available. The wine list was quite expensive but we were able to buy it by the glass.
