Very impressive indeed

This is not an expensive, snooty type of place. It serves very good food, with excellent ingredients, and gives you attentive and professional service. All at a very wallet-friendly price tag. How do you beat that? Three of us dined here, and the total bill, including tax but before tip, came... read more

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Adega's. The restaurant has a pleasant, relaxing and quiet ambience. The wait staff is excellent: helpful, friendly and unobtrusively attentive. The food was superb: really fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend trying Adega's during a visit to Toronto. It's probably best to make a reservation.

Great grilled Octopus and the calamari is huge, fresh and thankfully not fried! We asked our waiter to recommend a good bottle of Portuguese wine to pair with our entrees. My husband ordered the seafood soup course and liked it as well. I think this restaurant is a bit overpriced but the food is excellent and I would eat there... More

The restaurants in Toronto are not as generous as in the US. I love salmon, and it is what I ordered. It was not the best I've ever eaten, but it was not the worst. It was just OK. The cost x benefit relation is not so good, restaurants are more expensive in Toronto than in the US.

Dropped into this restaurant as it had Cataplana on the menu, what an excellent Portugese restaurant just along from Dundas Square. On our arrival we were offered bread and olive oil, no charge, whilst we per used the menu. The choice of Portugese wines especially from Antilenjo excellent at 33 dollars, the food, pan fried chicken, octopus and scallops were... More

Visited this restaurant in April while on holiday from Scotland and found the food and service to be excellent. Sardines to kick off with which were just as good as any I have tried in Portugal followed up by an extremely well cooked and tasty sea bream, service from the wait staff was also impeccable. All in all a very... More

When I saw the menu, I was so uncertain as to what to get. I'm a huge seafood lover. I asked our wonderful waiter....."to please help a seafood lover to decide". Without hesitation, he pointed his finger to the Authentic Portugese Fish Stew. Boy....did he know what he was talking about!! This was such a beautiful and delicious dish that... More

We have been to this restaurant a few times, but the most recent time the flavour felt a bit too vinegar-y to our tastes. Other than that, the price was reasonable and the service was great - as always.

This restaurant is a quite place with a tremendous service, good wine, and a lot of good food, specially in seafood( lobster, shrimp, fish , full fish, ) and of course good desserts!
