We have been to this restaurant a few times, but the most recent time the flavour felt a bit too vinegar-y to our tastes. Other than that, the price was reasonable and the service was great - as always.

This restaurant is a quite place with a tremendous service, good wine, and a lot of good food, specially in seafood( lobster, shrimp, fish , full fish, ) and of course good desserts!

This was a spur of the moment dinner reservation we made on a last minute weekday trip to Toronto. We were not disappointed! The service was great, and the food portions very healthy. I think this is the first time in my life that both my husband and I weren't able to finish our meals! We had the grilled sardines,... More

My self and my wife returned this week to Adega's restaurant on Elme St. in Toronto and we loved the overall experience once again... Adega has become one of our favourite portuguese style type of restaurant... The service is great. The food excellent and beautifully plated... The fresh seafood is succulent... Great choices on the menu and a list of... More

I've eaten several times at Adega. It's not an everyday kind of restaurant unless you consider $250 for three including tip inexpensive. It is however a safe bet both for business meals as well as special occasions. And its location on Elm Street across from the Eaton Chelsea Hotel is ideal. Definitely worth a splurge if you are spending a... More

What a great night with fellow employees. The service was amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. The room was set up perfect for the occasion and the atmosphere was so comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff was so quick to answer and bring anything we requested. There was no rushing to get us to leave and unfortunately... More

Adega is an Elm Street staple. Excellent portugese style menu and the grilled sea bass was not only excellent, it was probably the healthiest resto plate that I've seen served in the last several years. Superbly prepared fish served on a bed of rice and kale with market veg all grilled very nicely. Add a nice bottle of wine and... More

If you like seafood this is something you must try. The ambiance is nice and the service very attentive. I had the shrimp bisque and the seafood saffron risotto. The soup tastes great , the risotto was creamy but I couldn't taste the flavor of the seafood. For dessert I had the poached pear, a good choice in my opinion... More

Went to Adega on a relative quiet Monday night with two colleagues. The grilled squid appetizer was fantastic i divided it between 3 with a spoon it was so tender. We all had seafood. I enjoyed a Portuguese bouillabaise which was rich and full of fish varieties and shellfish. I also tasted a piece of my colleagues red snapper which... More
