Adega on Elm Street (between Young and Bay) Relatives recommended this Portuguese resto for the four of us. It was walking distance from our hotel. For appetizers two shared a “Caesar”. Two shared Grilled Portuguese Sardines which were deboned and very good though I would have liked more of them. Two had the Mediterranean Grilled Octopus; a specialty of the... More

We had a group of 20 people for a private dinner in the Port Room at Adega recently. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of the three course meal as well as the superb service. The Port room was quite nice and accomodated 20 people comfortably.

We have been to Adega many times and enjoyed lovely meals. This night we celebrated a friend`s birthday. Unfortunately, the meals were a disappointment. My friend and I ordered the special; lobster with scallops on a bed of risotto. Our half lobster was very small, more like a canning lobster. It was served as a small tail and one claw... More

Recommended by our hotel concierge for seafood and we weren't disappointed. It was a busy Saturday evening, but the service was attentive, friendly and caring. We each had whole sea bass followed by the most divine desserts.

Took a group of 23 to this Restaurant on a Tuesday night. Worked with owner Manny & his Assistant Carlos. They helped me with Menu and were very helpful with changing numbers of guests. We were in the main dining area. They have two seperate rooms but they were booked. Chose the Group Menu which had 5 entree selections. Everything... More

I dined with seven others, and we thought the meal was very-good but the overall experience was excellent. The portion size was larger than expected. I started off with the potato garlic soup and it was outstanding. My mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly but did not deliver the big "wow" so many of the new risottos deliver -- it was... More

Walking down Elm Street on a brilliant and warm fall evening, you could be anywhere in Europe, even though you are just a few steps away from the subway. Inside the restaurant you could also be in Europe, the décor, the artwork on the tastefully painted walls, and of course, the food. We had a corporate event in the charming... More

This is the first time I ve had Portuguese food. I loved it. Keep in mind that most of the dishes are sea foods. So if you are not a lover of sea foods Portuguese cuisine is not your thing. The food in this place was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. So was the service. Surely try the octopus entre.... More

This restaurant was fantastic in every aspect - decor, service and especially food. We were treated like royalty, all of the wait staff were professional and polite and the service was fast even as it got busier later in the evening. We had the grilled octopus and roasted pork belly to start and it was divine, particularly the pork belly... More

Tip: this place has a pleasant separate room one floor up from the main restaurant, and this is perfect for group dinners (our group was 50, and quite squeezed, but we fit in). Had a very nice dinner here with colleagues. My tip would be to go for the shrimp starter in spicy sauce, and the New York strip steak... More
