Had a great brunch on Saturday. The booths are small and crammed together but the brunch choices are excellent. We had the breakfast burritro, french toast, eggs benedict and the open faced bagel and lox sandwich. The service was good and the restaurant wasn't too busy when we got there (around noon). We even splurged and split the PB ice... More

dinner here last night with an old dear friend. the experience was both over-priced and underwhelming. presentation was lame, food was uninspired and tables are far too close together making dinner conversation difficult. seriously we've had better food at a "fast food" joint-seriously. with dozens of resto choices in this area, AVOID this place. portions were skimpy and for the... The Ace.....is a re-claimed dinner...in one of the hottest areas in Toronto. They don't take reservations...except fro the front table 6-8 people... The food is an eclectic mix of fabulous flavours...some Asian(chicken) ...some Italian(meatballs)....and some Southern Fare (ribs)....that being said...every dish we ate was simply delicious.Yes...there are many flavours going on...but somehow they manage to make it all make sense.... Went to The Ace for brunch on Saturday. The brunch menu was varied with something for everyone in our party of 4. The breakfast poutine topped with turkey was excellent. One in the party had the Nutella grilled sandwich. The restaurant was able to accommodate for a gluten allergy - and the food was good. The server was very helpful... More

Way overpriced for terrible food. Every reason to go there, all of the items featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, have been removed from the menu. Yeah that's a great idea get rid of the things that people are coming in for. Skip this spot at all cost. Heck go to McDonald's for far better food.

great food, very friendly staff.........no rushing, no fussing. Depending on the time of the day you may need to wait a spell. The Ace is well worth visiting when out in the west end Roncey area........ Had this totally amazing French toast thing......

Stopped in for lunch. Casual and laid back. Service was good. Shared the Caesar salad as a starter. Could have eaten the whole thing. Was great. The mussels were in a spicy tomato and bacon broth - fantastic! Also tried the BLT. Was really good as well!

We tried The Ace while visiting Toronto based on its DDD show. There were very few items on the menu and some were rather strange. We decided on 2 hamburgers with fries. They were very good but over $40 with tax (without any drinks) is too expensive. The place was nice, service a little slow, and we had to pay... More

We went for dinner this past Saturday. It was a nice atmosphere. I liked the fact that the cooking area was open so you could watch them cook your food. Our server was friendly. I was disappointed the the food. I had the Mac and Cheese burger. The fries were good but the burger itself was just ok. I was... More

Hubby and I made a point of visiting this tiny place in warm and welcoming Roncy Village on our trip to Toronto to celebrate his 29th birthday. We had previously seen the Ace featured on triple D - Diners, Drive-In's and Dives; a restaurant review show. Leaving Orfus Road headed for the Gay Village this was kinda sort of out... More
