Great steak, so-so atmosphere

Good was on point. Staff were friendly. Food service a little slow based on the number of other guests. The music was weird. Didn't fit the theme of the restaurant. Middle eastern music made it feel like a dance was going to break out. I felt the whole place was too quiet and felt you had to... read more

As regular customers of Wildfire Steakhouse in North York, we have been consistently impressed with all aspects of what this fine restaurant has to offer. Everything ranging from ambiance to the quality of their food is impressive. Their service is very attentive and always with a smile. This restaurant offers more than fair value and we would not hesitate to... More

I’ll tell you a little later how Restaurant Wildfire Steakhouse served me the tastiest food ever, but first, let me tell you about how I met the world’s nicest server on this evening. Roman was so wonderful to me and my fiance' that i have returned to this restaurant not once but five times and will continue to go. His... More

After a really long day this was the first place me and my fiance decided to go and it was worth it. The staff was very friendly and worked good as a team. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time.

Located on Colborne off Yonge street in the Cosmopolitan Hotel it's off the beaten path and not that easily found other than for the sandwich board the corner. We were a party of 4 and there were only 2 other patrons there the entire lunch hour. The server told us up front our food would take 20 minutes and brought... More

There's something about Summerlicious/Winterlicious that always irks me. On the one hand, I understand the concept. Restaurants offer a prix fixe menu which brings new customers in, and in being so popular, they need to administer strict time slots of 90 mins so they can turn tables. However as a customer, the feeling of being rushed after sitting down at... More

My husband and I tried Wildfire for the first time this week. We were not disappointed. You are greeted and made welcome by staff from the time you enter the restaurant. Water is provided immediately upon being seated. The layout of the room is such that there are smaller intimate areas that help reduce overall noise, which is nice for... More

Visited two times this year. We received great services. I especially liked the friendly hostess that greeted and seated us. The foods were great. I especially enjoyed their delicious grilled calamari! Their decadent chocolate torte is very chocolatey. I enjoyed their NY cheesecake for dessert.

Let me start by saying I am not a picky eater. If it's hot and in front of me I'll probably eat it so for this restaurant to not even fulfill my very easy standards made my first and ONLY experience at Wildfire a terrible one. A friend and I went there to take advantage of the summerlicious menu they... More

I wanted to personally respond to this review and let me start by saying, I am truly sorry for the experience you had at my restaurant. I feel personally embarrassed to know that a guest was treated the way you were treated. At Wildfire we take pride in taking the approach of “one guest at a time.” Whether you join... More

I went to Wildfire for the first time yesterday for Summerlicious. It was pretty busy, but I definitely felt the service was not the most attentive, and it took a very long time for us to get our mains. I also found it odd that their Summerlicious menu was the same as the regular menu. If you did the math,... More

Thank you for your review. Although; some of the items offered on our Summerlicious menu are the same from the regular menu; we do have many items that are only served during the event. For example our seared scallops, rib steak steak and Nova Scotia Lobster are dishes that are only prepared for this great time. Thank you again for... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
