We have been there a few times, mostly when there has been a Groupon. We went on a Saturday night when they were quite busy. The Groupon offered appetizers, main course (4 choices) and dessert. I had the 10 oz steak which was delicious and cooked to my specs. Notwithstanding our Groupon, we treated with excellent service. The appetizers, mains... More

When travelling, people like nothing better than to eat at a restaurant that the locals love - it is a seal of approval! Sorry, that wouldn't be the Wildfire. Overpriced. Undercooked! Imperious staff. This restaurant is sometimes by Hollywood north as a set - primarily because tables can be curtained off with heavy velour tables. Yes, the drapes are the... More

Great restaurant in the north end of Toronto just south of the 401 on Yonge Street is where you will discover this diamond in the rough. The décor is deep and dark yet the servers are knowledgeable about their menu and their extensive wine cellar that would rival any restaurant in Toronto. The preparation of the food shows that they... More

Food was excellent, steak was slightly overdone. Wine was amazing, very nice atmosphere other than the hip hop music. Overall fantastic date night out!

Like the title says, the restaurant was nothing special at all. I had a Caesar salad to start which was okay, a little too much garlic though. For my entree I had lobster. It came out cold AND undercooked. When it came back after I told my server, I couldn't taste the lobster, all I tasted was water, it was... More

I had a fantastic experience here which I contribute mostly to the service we received. Our server Cory went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. He was extremely accommodating of all our requests and was very attentive without making us feel rushed. I noticed that previous reviews mention poor service and if that was your experience I... Last tried Wildfire 5 years ago. Now I know why I stayed away. Sycophantic interrupting waiter overly impressed with himself, unimaginative overpriced menu. Wasabi mash shaped like a torpedo with the consistency of dough, a small sprig of broccoli and a single slice of carrot as veggies. Not at all worth the price

The servers were keen but a little callow. We were concerned because a pricey bottle of Mission Hill wine was quite old. We asked to speak to the sommelier about this vintage before we invested in the bottle, but he was on "a phone call". (Sure, that takes precedence over paying customers in the restaurant.) The waiter reassured us, though,... More

Hi. I am writing this review based on the last visit at this restaurant. In overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to other friends or family. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere is creepy. The place is so old so the wear and tear on the booths, tables and chairs is covered by the darkness. I ordered a bottle... More

We were a party of 4. We have previously dined at the Wildfire Steakhouse and had a good experience each time. This time I had bought the prix fixe off Groupon for a 4 course meal with a glass of wine. Every course was done to perfection. The service/server was really top notch and made our dining experience and evening... More
