We visited this restaurant on 15 April whilst in down town Toronto. As an enthusiastic meat eater I was not keen but as the place came highly recommended and because one of our party is a vegetarian I entered with a half open mind. The restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly and efficient and the place was very... More

The service was really great, I ordered very spicy and they delivered. The owner has a great way to explain you food. Only downside is that the food was not amazing. Their ginger and steamed almond milk drink was amazing.

It was a working luncheon and we were looking for a spot near University + Dundas in downtown Toronto. Vegetarian Haven in Baldwin Village was a great location - good food, quiet atmosphere, good service, great value. The menu has great options - including coeliac choices for those who need to eat gluten-free. The wait staff are attentive and I... More

They fit is in on a busy night without a reservation. Service was attentive, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The special was fantastic, the smoothies were thick & rich and the kale quinoa salad was one we'd order again and again. No review on dessert as we just had no room! A great find on a... More

I always try and visit this place when I come to Toronto as it's very central and only a short walk west of Dundas nestled in a quaint little "village setting". Dishes can be a little pricey but they are worth it with very creative use of flavor and texture with veggies, tofu, tempeh and seitan. I had a "seafood"... More

Had the special that night grilled tofu and a tempura tomato ( sounds different but was fantastic ) veggies and stir fried rice noodles that were equally yummy . Son had the sizzling seitan ( he's a meat eater and has mentioned more than once he can't wait to go back for this ) I am def going back for... More

I went here with my not so vegetarian boyfriend and we both agreed that the food was incredible. The flavours were excellent as was the choice of dishes available. I had the spicy coconut bread bowl and was not disappointed; it was my favourite meal whilst visiting Toronto last summer. We loved the area as well- lots of cute cafes/restaurants... More

Vegetarian Haven is a great find in a super convenient location close to Dundas and University. It's tucked away on Baldwin St. so it's easy to miss unless you're looking for it. The menu is extensive and every time I've been here, the food has been great, in taste and presentation. The menu not only has a lot of options,... More
