Vegetarian Haven, located in hip Baldwin Village surrounded by the University of Toronto and adjacent to Kensington Market is the first vegan restaurant we tried before taking the plunge and becoming vegan. The food is consistently outstanding as evidenced by their wait list and sold out evenings. Reservations are recommended. Buddhist and vegan compliant with plenty of gluten free options,... More

Vegetarian Haven is a cozy place with very nice staff!we ha the dinner of the day including a soup and a vegetables with tofu plate. But the best plate was the Shangai noodles with delicious vegetables (mushrooms, peppets, carrots). They also serve great juice!I suggest to visit Vegetarian Haven not onlu to veggie people!

Some of the best Vegan food I've had and the service was a delight. Fresh spicy flavours and enough choices to keep you going back to try them all.

Walking around in toronto you start craving asian food, for some reason it will happen to you. Maybe its the number of unhealthy asian restaurants or just the number of asian people you meet everywhere..but to satisfy this craving, I decided to try this place out. I was actually on my way to Khao San to quench my craving but... More

It was a very pleasant day out today so we sat on the patio. Interesting vegetarian menu. My husband's Spicy Seitan something platter had a lot of flavorand house made seitan. I had the Miso Dumpling Soup. The soup had a nice flavor but everything else within it was somewhat bland. Lovely staff - very nice and attentive. Not the... More

What a wonderful, yummy, veggie experience! Although I have heard in the past that this place does not have the greatest service, I went here and would not agree. Lovely service, cute patio, and the food! So good (healthy and junky) veggie food. I would even bring carnivores here. Try the drumsticks!

Had lunch there- excellent food, prompt service. They have outdoor seating as well. On a small street with many restaurants. Prices are acceptable. Would go back there for a meal anytime!

As a self-proclaimed carnivore, I'm usually weary about vegetarian or vegan restaurants. Typically try to avoid them where I can. I find that the fake meat just ends up being a poor replica of meat dishes and forever falling short of the delectable meat counterpart. I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings at Vegetarian Haven. Some great treats which were... More

We had a pleasant dinner. Unfortunately, the special dish of the day was over, but we really enjoyed the salads.

I wanted to find an excellent vegetarian restaurant for my niece and I to try during our stay in Toronto. She is a vegetarian and I am willing to try most foods. We made reservations the morning of the day we visited. The hostess was very pleasant and described the menu items very well. Any questions we had were answered.... More
