While visiting my vegan friend in Toronto last month, he suggested that I try this restaurant, located three blocks from his house. What a find! I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian (working on it) but I LOVED this restaurant! While not a fancy decor (very family orientated and noisy), the food was consistently fabulous! I was never disappointed once,... More

"Gerrard Street - Little India" was definitely on our itinerary when we visited Toronto. We visited "Udupi Palace" at the end of a day - after visiting many must-see touristy spots. We were hungry and tired. As soon as we entered, we ordered tea which was so good that we actually ordered another round of tea. My 10 year old,... More

Udupi Palace was recommended to me by a South Indian friend of mine few years ago and I've been their loyal fan ever since. Their menu stays consistently amazing! Uttapams and Dosas are a definite must-try! South Indian Thali tastes heavenly as well and gives you a great variety of foods to try - portion is very generous, so best... More

The food and service in this restaurant is great. Keep up the quality. The different varieties of food allows everyone in the family to visit. They should try to keep the toilets cleaner.

Have been eating here with the family for awhile now. Its great in the sense that the Dosa's are of great quality and especially love the Phav Bhagi! There's a play area in the front that occupies our 2 year old daughter with toys and other kids letting the adults eat. The staff is quite friendly and helpful, though a... More

First off, I would like to say that I don't know the difference of foods from the different regions of India. I enjoy a variety of curried dishes and I know when food tastes good. The food served at this establishment was very tasty. I love the fact that it's vegetarian. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys East... More

I have been to some Vegetarian restaurants in Toronto as well in the US but this is by far the best in service and food, I recently moved to Toronto and just love it, glad to have something so close to home, Love the Dosas simple and the best money can buy, never seen a restaurant with a play place... The Udipi chain in South India is authentically South Indian. And there are South Indian waiters, cooks and the cuisine is similar to what South Indians eat at home. It was manifestly clear to us that this restaurant has now passed to North Indians' hands. The waiters/manager spoke Hindi all the time!! This was reflected in the food - quite... More

This looked like a popular restaurant for the locals. The food was not great, but OK, not as good as other Udupi restaurants in the US. There were lot of menu options for the whole family. Service was very slow, and they need to hire more wait staff.
