Using only the freshest ingredients Sotto Sotto offers a considerable menu of simple classics and traditional creations. To start there is an abundance of wonderful salads and antipasti. Pastas are available as a second or main course dish. Main courses feature veal, beef, seafood and poultry and there are also "risotto for two" options. We also serve delicious gelati and desserts including homemade tiramisu made in the time honoured traditional style of the Rocca family.

Went with a small family group. Must admit, the food was so delicious, I hardly noticed I was dining at a beautifully set table in a low ceiling basement.

We visited Yorkville for our wedding anniversary and stayed at the Park Hyatt who made our reservation. Our hotel was absolutely outstanding but dinner was exactly the opposite! First I will say I am not a high-maintenance diner but appreciate good food and good service. This was such a horrible experience I had to post one week later! We arrived... More

Everything about our meal was very good, but it wasn't as fantastic as the prices would suggest. The service was very good too. I'd suggest this restaurant if you're looking for a formal atmosphere and looking to impress.

Visiting friends in Toronto and invited to Sotto Sotto for dinner. The dinner was wonderful as well as the service. The waiter was friendly and offered suggestions that turned out to be just what we wanted. The scallops were very good. The fish was perfect. We will visit again.

First time I went there I was so excited! My first meal was a great experience as I was with my boyfriend, from then on in, trip after trip, my experiences diminished, as I was with different company. Spending hundreds of dollars, and after many visites I can say I am never going back. First meal was great as mentioned... More

The review just came to my attention. Over two decades ago, Sotto Sotto began to develop its identity and over the years, thanks to our many loyal customers it evolved and grew strong. I am not quite sure when it happened, but, somewhere along the line my restaurant became synonymous with Drake. While I appreciate and am grateful for the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
