Traditional Italian Trattoria

We felt as if we had stepped into a neighborhood spot in Italy. Has a very traditional old Italy feel, but the food was fresh and the service friendly. We were able to get a table in the back garden which is very quaint and a little more lively feeling. The bread is delicious, but save room for... read more

This restaurant is conveniently located close to Bloor Street and the subway. It presents a pleasing atmosphere when you enter: the kind of place where most diners are regulars and greeted as such by the management. Once seated I realized that this is also a very noisy restaurant: while the decor is lovely there are plenty of hard surfaces for... More

After searching in tripadvisor for a good restaurant near our hotel, we found it. We went for lunch, and Laura served us. We ordered eggplant, which was perfect, light, since it was prepared without frying the eggplant. Delightful. Then, she suggested the dish of the day, so we ordered risotto with pumpkin, zucchini, spinach, and shrimp (see photo). What at... More

I recently celebrated my birthday at my favorite Italian restaurant in Toronto, Fieramosca. My score 150 out of 100. It would be higher but did not want to get too carried away. Two of my favorite dishes are not on the menu. Chicken Parm which you can order anytime and eggplant parm which you should order ahead. The restaurant is... More

What a tremendously joyous evening! Four of us went out to dinner after our conference and I chose this restaurant based on what I saw on trip advisor... So many excellent reviews I trusted this would be a good place to dine for my colleagues from out of province. So going in I had high expectations, and confidence, and then... More

To one and all, I have to say that for me there is no other Italian restaurant in Toronto. I have been going to this little white house, before it moved to its current location. Many special moments have been spent there and many of my friends and family have had the pleasure of experiencing this place. Mario, Dos, Edwin,Ravi,... More

My husband and I had dinner at Trattoria Fieramosca the other night and from the moment we walked into the restaurant till the moment will left the service was unmatched. The food was absolutely delicious and reminded us of a dinner we had in Italy a couple months ago, the freshness and flavor of each dish was sectacular. The home... More

I've been going to Fieramosca for years now. It's one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Comfortable surroundings, excellent food, and unfailingly thoughtful service. I was there again last night with a friend, and wanted to commend Ravi in particular for his friendly and professional service. We're always glad when he's our server, and last night was no exception. The... More

I was my companion's guest and she selected the restaurant based on its location, its quiet environment, and its good food. It delivered on all counts. The restaurant is located on a quiet charming side street in Yorkville in an old house. The room is quite dated, like stepping back in time, but still attractive, although some of the chairs...
