The restaurant is tiny and seems to be populated with locals. The food is excellent (order a special) and their wine list is creative!!

I ate here as part of a large group on a "free night" during a recent business trip. I was a little uncertain at first as I am not a very adventurous eater but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered gnocchi with porcini mushroom and spring vegetables and it was delicious. Some of my co-diners were much more adventurous than... More

A very old school Italian restaurant, near Yorkville and priced accordingly. Food was good, not great. Not nearly as interesting as places like Nodo in the Junction, or Enoteca Sociale. Portions are very generous. Service was very good. This is the kind of place where you get asked if you want grated Parmesan or fresh pepper on every single dish,... More

Group of 17 ordering off the menu. One waitor for us all. Excellent service. Food was timely delivered and fantastic. This is one of, if not, the best restaurants in Toronto. Absolute repeat!

Be seated, peruse the menu, then close it, set it aside and ask Gian Carlo what he recommends. Make your selection, then ask him to pair your wines. You can not go wrong and will have a most pleasant dining experience .

If you want real Italian food served in a very warm and friendly atmosphere, then don't miss Fieramosca. Ask for Giancarlo, the owner and perhaps one of the best servers you will ever encounter. Portions are very generous and while we were with 10 others everything came hot and ready to devour! We had fish which was especially fresh and... More

In Toronto for an academic conference, our celebration dinner was booked at this restaurant. The food was very tasty and well-served. The padrona was charming although waiters were either chinese or Indian which was disappointing. Both atmosphere and ambience were that of a well-run, Italian family trattoria. Clearly the food was prepared from fresh ingredients and locally sourced meat and... More

I have been a faithful clinet of this resturant since the age of 22 and now I am at the age of 48 and I have to say that with all of the resturants in the GTA, there have been none that I can compare to the quality of food, the people and service that takes place at this resturant.... More

This restaurant has a nice location from the ROM but it just doesn't try too hard. Asked for reisling wine and got chardonnay. the gnocchi is not house made and the pasta dish eventhough the sauce is good had nothing else for pizazz. Quite expensive too. My husband loved his minestrone.
