They fight their eviction with many sympathizers but their last business day was 27 May 2012. http://www.torontolife.com/daily/daily-dish/deathwatch/2012/05/24/the-real-jerk-farewell-party/

Whether eat in or take out, I am always happy with The Real Jerk. My kind of Comfort Food! Try the Shrimp Rundown but please leave me some.
I now live in Halifax, but used to live in Toronto with my sister. We lived a block away from "The Jerk" and have eaten there more times than I can remember. We always had the 1/4 jerk chicken dinner with white meat, beans & rice and coleslaw. The beans and rice are perfect, not dry at all, and the... More
It may not be my absolute favorite roti shop...but it's really good.

Went here with friends....the service is "adequate"...however the restaurant is dirty and needs a good cleaning. Way better options in Toronto.
This place is awesome. Authentic Jamaican food with a chill atmosphere. Rotis and jerk chicken, pork are amazing. Fresh and delicious. They also have a nice selection of jamacian drinks such as the jamacian cream soda which is awesome. The Real Jerk is a must try in Toronto if you love caribbean food.
