When Italian Machismo goes just a bit too far !

A good buzz in a local eatery where I went with x2 Veggies and x2 Non Veggies . Loved the extensive choices of cocktails - wine specials and Menu. I've never been disappointed at Terroni. The food is simple and authentic. The atmosphere is lively and cool. Wine selection is excellent too. Treat yourself and be patient in line while you wait for a seat.

I have had a number of people tell me that Terroni was their most favorite restaurant in Toronto so we decided to check it out. Wow. What an amazing menu of selections. All courses offered multiple dishes and of the ones we chose, we were all extremely impressed. We started with a vegetarian pizza that even carnivores like myself were... More

The owner/chef tells his guests when they are allowed to use parmesan for their ordered and paid food. We tried to explain that we do know that parmesan is not the ideal fit for any seafood pasta but we asked for it as we like the taste. We had no chance to get parmesan. This ignorance is not tolerate. We... More

Went here last week with two other friends. We ordered carpaccio, mushrooms, tagliatelle alla bolognese and spaghetti in Canna a mare. Everything was fantastic. Especially loved the tagliatelle! I would come back just for this dish! I liked that the seafood dish wasn't in a cream sauce but was instead a light tomato sauce and it really helped bring out... More

Sat in the patio on a nice warm summer evening. Although there are quite a few tables it's a good atmosphere. The food is terrific - all pasta made fresh, interesting sauces, good (if a bit pricey) wine selection. Staff was very competent from the greeter to the server, to being wished a great evening on departure. This was a... More

Went for an early Friday night dinner with my husband. Had been really looking forward to their thin crust pizza. The back patio was beautiful - very nice atmosphere and quite busy. First we were served some crusty bread which was lovely and fresh however the olive oil tasted a bit "off". Then grilled calamari which was excellent. Then a... More

Came in to Terroni on a whim and managed to get a table without a reservation at dinner time. Greeted instantly by our server who was super friendly, knowledgeable about the wine and food, chatty but not overly intrusive. Ordered a pizza and a pasta - both were delicious and the portions were big. Great dining experience - both our... More

This place is great. Everything is tasty. I've never had a bad meal here. My wife and I love the oyster mushroom salad. The pastas and pizzas are all good. Servers are usually friendly and efficient. Is it absolutely the best Italian food you'll have? Probably not. But is it consistently going to be there for you when you want... More

Recently in Toronto in July 2015. With the great weather we wanted a fun patio and Italian restaurant. Terroni was perfect. Hidden back patio was large, tree covered. The inside of the restaurant was great as well. Old school Italian place. Food was great and priced reasonable. We had our twin 5 year olds with us and they place made... More
