This place is in a category all on its own. If you like to try places that are a little rough around the edges but charming in their own way, go here. Nachos are a must.

I was in Toronto for the weekend and my friend, Seano, recommended coming here on Saturday night for drinks and the King Nachos, claiming they were the best Nachos he has ever had. I wasn't disappointed - they were delicious. Drinks are pretty cheap and the bar has a cool vibe and apparently has shows on the second floor (which... More

Was brought to this restaurant by friends. They said to prepare for a different dinning experience. Man was it ever different. The food was plentiful, but needed a little more spice. This place to be a staple among the U of T students. Will go back.

Sneaky Dee's is my go-to for dinner when I'm in the area. Student-budget-friendly, great atmosphere with huge portions and amazing staff. The sangria is always spot-on, and the food is fairly simple but delicious. And the most important feature - their portions of guacamole are VERY generous!

The Toronto legend that everyone loves to hate it seems (Just look at the comments at blogTO). Remember seeing this place featured in the scott pilgrim graphic novels so thought i would pop on in and see what the fuss is about. Came in sunday evening, pretty packed out but was seen almost immediately, Tried ordering a beer but they... More

The most amazing nachos I've ever had and the portions are huge!!! Very quirky place with lots of posters and graffiti on the walls which I love. I would defiantly come here again for some good Mexican food. My boyfriend had a burrito which he said was great too. If you're in the area go here you won't be sorry.

Went for dinner on Thursday August 6th with family. Have been there twice some time back but have not reviewed as of yet. Started off with a customary veggie nachos and avocado spring roll. Usually we have had the fried version, this time around we tried the grilled option. The veggie nachos were good as usual but the rest of... More

My friends from out of town constantly say lets go downtown and meet for Nachos. I wish they would let me eat something else. It's always great watching bands here. Staff is always friendly.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
