What it says. Such a shame. We always enjoyed it. Although this was not one of those all-you-can-eat buffets like in Little India Bazzaar, the food was a notch higher in terms of quality. This was the only restaurant featuring authentic cuisine from the sub-continent on the entire Danforth strip. Sniff. I am done. The end.

The Sher-E-Punjab is one of the Danforth originals and also one of the best restaurants anywhere. I say that having been to India a couple of times, as well as Europe, the US, Asia, Latin America, etc. The Sher-E-Punjab is now in its second generation and just underwent a stunning renovation that not only takes it to a new level... A great menu but not consistent in terms of either the food (both the quality and the portions) or the waiting staff

A little more expensive than what you will find in Little India but the food quality is excellent along with the service. Good assortment of dishes and the naan is outstandingly fresh. Wine selection could be better but what they have is basic and not too over priced. The rice pudding is amazing, if you're not too full in the... More

Toronto has so many excellent Indian restaurants. This one only satisfies in an emergency. The menu has a good range but the food is unremarkable.

Went here on a risk, I'm snobby with Indian food and generally not a fan of what most Indian restaurants pretend is 'Indian' food. So, based on reviews I decided this restaurant was worth a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor place was pleasant using earth tones, service was prompt and food was served quickly. We ordered the palak... More

More westernized than the East Indian restaurants you find on Gerrard East, but that's not always a bad thing. Great for take out, and when they forgot the dessert my wife ordered they asked for our address and delivered it themselves. Service can be slow, but they are always eager to please.

We went to this place tonight before a concert at the Music Hall. I was optimistic that the food would be good based on reviews that I had read, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the pecoras, naan paneer and garlic naan for appetizers, which were all great. The pecoras were delicious and we tried naan paneer for the first... More

I've been to many Indian restaurants in Toronto and none compare to this place. After my initial visit, I brought frends to try it out and they strongly agreed that the food, ambience and staff are flavourful, clean and very attentive respectively. We ordered the sizzling platter, pakora and meat and veggie samosa's to start and all were delicious. For... More

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant out and visit another area of Toronto. We ordered our Main meals which consisted of lamb, chicken, vegetable, rice and naan bread...at first we thought the portions are small but then after we were eating it...we found we were full than before. The atmosphere is wonderfully warm and it's cozy too.... More
