For years this has been one of the best restaurants around. It's well out of the downtown core, but worth the cab ride. Guess what! You can talk with your guests. It's not your usual noisy restaurant! Food's pretty good too!

a toronto dining classic that always delivers high quality food perfectly prepared and presented. fresh arugula salad, caesar salad and onion rings appetizers were very satisfying entrees of chicken, tempura battered haddock, calf's liver and peppercorn fettucine were simply delicious. well prepared and presented. service was impeccable as always scaramouche lives up to expectations

I agree with some of the reviewers below. While the room is beautiful and service excellent, the food is just average. Had a salmon dish that I didn't care for at all, fish was undercooked, by design. Desserts were not as good as advertised.

My daughter and I were there last night and had calamari, oysters, eggplant parm, peppercorn fettuccine and of course--coconut cream pie that everyone reviews with raves and they're right!! Perfect ending to our meal. The atmosphere was very lively, which I didn't expect, but enjoyed. Thank you Scaramouche for a wonderful evening that we will always remember. We will be... More

We have been going to the pasta bar for years. There are always new and exciting additions to the menu but I consistently return to the ever so famous peppercorn fettucine, a melange of beef tenderloin gruyere cheese pine nuts and mushrooms. Never ever disappointed.

make sure to ask for a table with a view ahead of time. I have to say really good service, and great atmosphere. With all the hype, it didn't really live up to the name for me. I felt like it was quite average in terms flavor and food presentation, but again I have to compliment the great service.

Here on work I eat out solo every night. I found this place on Tripadvisor and though why not..its number 2, I think it should be number 1. I love the lamb! It might be the best lamb I have ever had. I dont normally ever get dessert, but after seeing a few go by my table I had to... More

Every few years we travel to Toronto. Originally many years ago, our concierge at the Royal York suggested we visit Scaramouche for a special evening. What an experience! This June was the most recent visit. Always the finest attention from the professional wait staff, then their knowledge of the offerings, the unusual selections perfectly prepared, wine selections to enhance the... More

The menu changes with every season and it is wonderful each and every time. We dined at the pasta bar and had the very tasty lobster and shrimp salad. I really appreciate that the mayo sauce is presented on the side and they leave it up to you to decide how much you would like. The sea bass, liver, chicken... More

Hands down one of the best foodie experiences I've had. The Lamb and the Filet are both top notch, but if you don't treat yourself to a slice of the Coconut Cream Pie afterwards you will never forgive yourself. Thank you to the staff, and the cooks for our honeymoon dinner experience!
