Been before, but had been awhile, it is still outstanding, fresh seafood, and if you are a oyster lover, there is plenty to choose from. Do a platter that offers a variety. Awesome!

This place is a Toronto institution and it is easy to see why. Don't be fooled by the casual atmosphere; the food is outstanding! Our waiter was friendly and efficient. We started by sharing a sampler of oysters & I recommend the Cape Cods and the Rodneys - bursting with brine and flavor. Followed that up with a cup of... More

We usually drop in once a year , some time near our wedding anniversary ; been doing this off and on now for 30 years. You cant go wrong with amazing fresh seafood and being surrounded by people that honestly seem to be enjoying their work. Great oysters and craft beers. A good area and you can usually find meter... I was alone in Toronto and wanted somewhere downtown I could feel relaxed. This fitted the bill. I was at the bar so you can watch all the oyster action. The guys were great and my scallop main was to die for. 4 stars as I have been to better oyster bars but I loved it.

Casual hip and great oysters. Basement feel with crates of oysters and buzzing atmosphere. Prefer to go here for drinks and oysters but just okay for dinner. Great for pre or post sports games as an alternative to a pub.

I was there attending a work function, so right away this colors the review. We sat at a long wood table with wood benches. A bit uncomfortable for a 3 hour meeting, but might suffice for a 2 hour dinner. The first course of shrimp were tasty, but overcooked. Then came the oysters. Three large platters for our group of... It's maybe because we had too high expectations after seeing so many great food pics and comments on Rodney's on the web but the food quality was just an average. Oysters were great but it's not any better than ones you can get other places and pricey. Considering that Rodney's is one of the main supplier of oysters to many... More

Rodney's is located in a hip, trendy area of Toronto. The restaurant is in the basement but has no lack of character from the location. Staff are very knowledgeable and the restaurant has a wide selection of unique east coat (US and Canadian) and west coast oysters. The wine list is a bit short but there is a good selection... More
