Love eating the oysters here. There's a lot of selection. The soups are very warm and hearty...great for a cold winter day. It is still a little pricey though.... more

We live in the GTA; we dine out pretty often and we usually go out with a friend couple to try out new places. We had to wait around 20 minutes before we were seated despite the fact that we had a reservation. The waitress was very rude from the start; we asked her if we could have a Negroni... more

We went to Rodney's Oyster House after a 9 hour drive from Baltimore on Fri. 9/4. It was highly recommeded to us by friends. It was a nice place with a laid back atmosphere. The food was very good, my boyfriend is a huge oyster fan. We spent about CDN $140 with tip. Now- this may be something specific to... more

What a treat!! The oysters--we tried about 6 kinds at the suggestion of our wonderful server--were fabulous, clams tasted like the ocean. Our meal, PEI Lobster with blue foot and other exotic mushrooms in a light cream sauce was to die for--a real bargain at only $26 including sides. Even the sides of potatoes and another of vegetables were expertly... more

We went on a Saturday in January for a late lunch. We hadn't sampled many different types of oysters before and asked our server to pick out a dozen. He did a great job explaining the different kinds and offering tips on how to season them (skip the sauces!). We also had crab cakes with arugula salad from the lunch... more

As a Toronto native and frequent restaurant go-er on both personal occasions and as a host for my clients, I figured it was time to check out the most renowned seafood restaurant in my hometown. Sadlly, my experience did not measure up to the hype. While the food was satisfactory (we ordered several varieities of oysters), the service was extremely... more

The oysters are good. Everything else? Overpriced, overcooked, under-flavoured. I wouldn't go back for dinner. Maybe for an afterwork plate of oysters. more
