We stopped in here one evening for dinner and I must say it was one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten in. We ordered the smoker's platter to start, absolutely delectable! For mans we had the garlic shrimp and steamed mussels, which were excellent and cooked to perfection. My wife had the chocolate mousse which she tells me... More

I used to come here a lot but the last time was 2 years ago. The standard of service and food quality are still one of the best! We went there on a Sat night. We arrived before 7pm and was seated at the bar. When we left, the line up was long! So do arrive early as they usually... More

I dined solo at Rodney's as my partner wasn't a fan of seafood. It was during the afternoon so was quite quiet. I had a seat at the bar and was served by a really helpful server who answered my questions and made recommendations as I was an oyster novice. I had a small selection of oysters that were carefully... More

Wednesday night dinner, sat at the bar with a friend. Our server and shucker told us his name was Rodney, but not THE Rodney. Had the smoked platter, oysters and prawns. Everything was fantastic. The service was also a highlight; Rodney answered dozens of our questions and explained about oysters from buying to shucking to eating. Was a great decision... More

What to say? Rodney's was excellent! First, we were welcome very well by the staff. They have been very helpful throughout the meal without being disruptive like it can be in some other restaurants. The guy knew what he was selling and it was easy to make the right choice. I tried the salmon burger. I was a but worried... More

The best oysters I've ever had, by far. The dudes behind the bar were awesome too. We were supposed to just make a quick stop here for a beer and to meet up with some friends but we never ended up going anywhere else that night. TOOOO GOOD PS: we drank 50's out of brown paper bags.

This is a must stop in Toronto for all oyster lovers! Being from the east coast we get to indulge on these delicacies year round and Rodney's delivers big time! Great atmosphere, you can cozy up to the bar and the staff is top notch! Went on Wednesday the 21st and snuck back in the following night. Cheers!!

Rodneys is such a great little find in downtown Toronto near the theatre district. A terrific vibe when you walk in, we sat at the bar and had more oysters than we probably should but who could resist? But they were amazing and fresh and chilled with about 8 different varieties. Heartily recommend this terrific restaurant if you are looking... More

This was one of the best oyster bars i have ever been too. It has a very casual atmosphere and great seafood choices. They only serve wine, beer and sake. Liquor is very limited. One of the largest selections of oysters i have ever seen. Great place to spend many hours eating and drinking. Great location on Kings St W.

Although there are better oyster bars in town none can compare to the feeling Rodneys provides. This really feels like a different world here. The oysters are fresh although not a huge variety and the other seafood is simply prepared and again fresh it doesn't when all put together make me want to go back any time soon. Don't get... More
