i was going to rate it 2 star, but pulled back. It was not exactly poor, but it certainly wan't far short. The spicy sausage penne was not spicy but dull. The pasta main of the day which my wife had was heavy and uninteresting. I thought perhaps the plastic cups for water were for the patio tables, but I... More

The menu items sounded good but were disappointing when tasted. They were passable but in an area where chefs compete for customers this seems to be just coasting. Plus the prices are too high for what we got. The "Angel hair pasta with smoked salmon in fresh vodka dill cream" did not use what I would consider to be real... More

Offers GF pasta, but no GF bread (if you want bruschetta - which looked delicious). Will modify pasta dishes to accommodate allergy. Restaurant very busy & server seemed busy & not pleased to take extra time needed to answer my questions. In the end I had a delicious seafood pasta. No GF options for dessert. Gave complementary non-alcoholic drink to... More

Came here on Mother's Day and sat at a nice table on the patio. The food was good. I indicated a food allergy to soy (which I mentioned includes vegetable oil), the dish I ate contained olives and they must have been sitting in vegetable oil, because I did have a mild reaction, or perhaps they put oil in the... This place is popular.. I cant figure out why. Service was good. Wine was good. Pasta is average. You can get way better pasta at Vesuvio's just north on Dundas. Which is what we do.

This is a well-known and successful place, but our meal today was pretty unexceptional. First of all, the plastic tumblers for water is a really downscale choice...a restaurant is not a stand at the CNE!!....The angel hair pasta with salmon was not bad but the flavours were very bland, the salmon, the cream sauce and the tomatoes. No bright sharp... More

My only complaint was that the bread brought to our table could have been a little fresher. Other than that, our dinner was great - as it always has been since we started going here a decade ago. The service sizes are just right, there's choice but not overwhelmingly so, and specials every night. And a nice patio. The place... More

Went on a Friday night with a friend. They were very busy but had a table open up within 5 minutes. Service was good and I ordered the butternut squash ravioli. It was very tasty and filling and not bad price-wise. If you're checking out all the restaurants on the Bloor West strip, pop in here sometime - great energy... More

Charming Italian restaurant in the heart of bloor west village. Easy to get to by subway (Runneymede station is probably closest). If driving there is a lot of street parking and Green Ps around. Great pasta selections one the menu, but there are always daily specials in addition to that. I recently went for lunch and have been there twice... More

My wife and I have dined here a number of times and it's become one of our favourite places to go. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The pasta is made fresh daily and the selections will suit any palate. The food is consistently good with good size portions and very reasonale... More
