Go on, go in. You know you want to.

I love this. From the outside it looks a bit dark and forbidding, but inside is a great pub with really very good, mostly south-east Asian influenced, food. Staff were casual and friendly, but also very quick to respond to requests. The ambience is unique - give it a go!

This is an amazing restaurant on Queen Street -- easy to get to from most of the downtown hotels or a quick ride to the Osgoode stop on the TTC. The Pad Thai is terrific, as is the Bah Me Hang. A decent size spot, although things can get crowded.

It's a little bit of a maze to get to the patio but once you're there it's very nice and lots of shade. The service was great. I had the roti, it was absolutely delicious and came with greens and a nice vinaigrette.

This patio is literally their backyard. It is quiet and feels like you're at someone's house. They have some interesting drink choices and great food choices. The Pad Thai is delicious but my favourite is still Ping Gai. Service is very good. Don't be scared off if the restaurant isn't packed in the summer as everyone is in the back... More

We recently went to the Cafe to celebrate my daughter's Birthday with family and friends. They have excellent choices for the vegetarians, oriental food lovers and North American tastes, and the prices are very affordable. Our party had vegetarians, people who liked oriental food and also people who like the more conservative North American food. I had the Cornish Hen... More

I haven't eaten at the Queen Mum in close to 20 years, so I was glad to see my old favorites still on the menu (nam jeun & ping gai), which I had today out on their cute garden patio. It's not obvious they have one of those, so be sure to ask if the weather is nice.

We ate here on the recommendation of the hotel concierge. The food was quite tasty and affordable. Service was attentive and fast. I would recommend as a good spot for lunch. One of our friends had a peanut allergy and even though lots of stuff on menu involved peanuts, the chef made sure of a peanut free dish.

I went with 2 friends and we all had separate dishes. Highly recommend the wasabi guacamole and the chicken pin gai. Veggie burger was delicious too. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended

The Queen Mother is a great place to eat and relax. It's on Queen Street, which is very busy, and the back patio, in particular, totally removes you from all that. Plus, the food is great.

Disappointed with our visit this time. Roti was served fridge-cold. Server and cook were ready to microwave it, which apparently was the step missed in the kitchen. Nuked food at sit-down prices does not appeal to me, so I ordered the Cosmic Burger, which was tasty. Server forgot to bring fries I ordered, however. Too bad they're cutting corners. Preparing...
