Spectacular view. And after a day wondering harbour front it is a nice break. Unfortunately dim sum is just okay - and i am from ottawa and get much better in a small town. But kids did like the "hockey pucks"

I like the location because of the great atmosphere and all day dim sum. Meals are good, a little pricey but great location.

It's $60 but it's for 2 people (easy 3 could eat on it!) and it includes the appetizer (duck crepes) and the main course (lettuce wraps)!!! Absolutely incredible taste - we loved it! Highly recommend. Oh ya, and beautiful view of the lake!

the view is gorgeous, no doubt. Food is horrendous and outrageously bad. i'm honestly baffled as to how this restaruant has not gone bankrupted yet, and i'm only going to guess that they have a gorgeous view so that's why they attract people.

My husband, two kids and I stumbled upon this place when we visited downtown Toronto. The service was efficient. The food was decent. We ordered vegetarian chow mien which was okay, Kung pao chicken which the family enjoyed, string beans in black bean sauce (which was tasty), dumplings (which were okay) and hot and sour soup which was tasty. I... More

If you are looking for a classic dim sum experience with a great view, look no further. Very reasonably priced and everything we tried was just so very good. Loved eating this way.

This is probably the most original Chinese restaurant in the downtown area of Toronto. The location is a bit hard to find but once there, is quite delightful. The view of the harbour is fantastic - actually right by the departure area of the lake tourist boats. Food wise, as close to true Chinese food as we have tasted in... More

This is one of my two go-to venues when we want Chinese in downtown Toronto (read my review on the other one, Dynasty). Patrons can enjoy a lake view at most tables. Staff is a little better than most Chinese restaurants. Service with a smile and delicious food will always yield customer loyalty. It's not cheap even for lunch but... More

The food was very high quality - and authentic Chinese, according to one of us in the party. We were there as a party of 9, so chose from the group menu. We chose option C - and we were so full, we couldn't finish it all - some went home with meals for the next day. The spring rolls... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
