The service we received was spectacular. Everyone who came by was delightful. They originally forgot about my wine order, and then it turned out they didn't have what I asked for, so getting a glass of wine turned out to be a 30 minute adventure, but they were so nice I didn't care. The food on the other hand was... More

I've been here so many times always ordering the grilled octopus or calamari and every time its cooked perfectly. If someone knows of better I'd like to hear about it. Service is always excellent. The birthday singer always makes it entertaining

We had the fried calamari and the saganki fried cheese for appetizers, absolutely delicious....highly recommend these items. As a main....had the chicken soulvalki and the portions are very generous with an amazing price.....a great place for dinner with a group or family.

This is excellent restaurant that we continually go back to, however the business can be an issue, absolutely recommend getting reservations beforehand and know that it is VERY NOISY, which is stressful but the food is so good, it's worth it. Calamari is best in the city!

Having eaten my way up and down Danforth, I would recommend Pantheon over any of the other Greek restaurants because of the attention to the quality of the ingredients, and the cooking as well as the warm hospitality of the owners and servers. By far the best seasoned grilled sea bream, squid, and octopus on the street, generous servings, flavourful... More

Open air patio on the Danforth at the front of the restaurant and very friendly, authentic service, which is rare in Toronto where so much service is precious beyond tolerance. Everyone was enjoying themselves, a variety of people and ages. The Pantheon is all about eating well and having a good time. The saganaki was to die for, the retsina... More

We have been going to this restaurant on and off for the past 20 years we have tried other Greek restaurants but are always sorry after as none of them can compete with the food served at Pantheon. I usually have the small Chicken Solovaki dinner, it comes with the tastiest greek salad and is reasonably priced. My husband has... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
