Good place for leisurely dining.

Five of us visited on a Sunday evening and, without a reservation, we got a nice table on the patio. The food was good if not exceptional and the vegetarian in the party was well catered for. I've been to many restaurants on the Danforth, but none quite like this. I came with five friends who were all equally disappointed. First off we all ordered the easiest thing to prepare on the menu. A chicken souvlaki dinner which included chicken, rice, potatoes and salad. It took forty minutes to get the salad (and it wasn't that busy)... More

We spent a great night at the restaurant and we all liked the food so much. Staff are nice and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The lady who was serving us didn't take all our order at once. She first brought the drink, after a while she came back for appetizer and at the end she took the main course... More

What should have been a great evening out to celebrate a birthday was spoiled by poor service. It was so poor we did not actually get our meal. Tables served wrong dishes and drinks. Tables not served at all and inattentive waiters spoiled what should have been a good night. It was noticeable in the few days after that while... More

Tasty array of dips, warm bread, flavourful Greek salad, hit-the-spot drinks. Girlie catch-up over flavourful Greek Salad (LOVE Greek Salad especially when the flavours balance - no one flavour overpowering the other) We chose a selection of Greek Dips (3 dip platter): Plate 1: Taramosalata (Pink Caviar) - whipped Potato With Cod Roe Tzatziki - yogurt With Grated Cucumber And... Been to this restaurant on several occasions and neither of them has been uneventful. The service is dreadful. I once had a bowl of tzaziki spilled on me by one of the severs and was just given a dirty dish cloth to clean myself off. I have also had several issues with attempted trickery on my final bill. Avoid at... More

We visited Omonia on a busy Saturday night. We were able to obtain reservations from the busy Greek Danforth restaurant area. The service was terrible and when brought to the attention of the owner it was shrugged off. There were 4 fish dishes on the menu. They had only 1 of them which was salmon as well as a replacement.... More

My family and I visited this restaurant on Sunday, May 3. It was a gorgeous day out and we were lucky enough to get a seat on the patio. The food was excellent. We shared the grilled octopus, gyro plate and sagnaki. These did not stand a chance! All very, very good. Between 5 of us we ordered rack of... More

We went there on a Monday evening. The restaurant was virtually empty and chilly. The food was OK but nothing special. One of our party ordered the special fish which was supposedly filleted but had many bones. The check was surprisingly high considering what we had.to eat.

Right in the Danforth Greektown area of Toronto. I visited on a chilly Sunday evening and sat nearby the raised fireplace in the dining room overlooking the Danforth. The decor is modern but service is authentic and welcoming. Food was delicious and there is no rushing to turn tables. I had the oven roasted lamb which virtually fell off the... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
