A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

Good spaghetti and meat sauce

Good restaurant for basic spaghetti and meat sauce. Their freshly baked bread is also nice. My kids love the food here.

We like to take spur of the moment staycations and decided that the weekend of Jan 30th would be perfect given the milder weather. We booked a hotel, checked out some of the downtown Toronto attractions, we were looking forward to a nice dinner. We booked a reservation at the OSF - thinking iconic restaurant, Italian food - how can... More

Double birthday celebration for my wife and grandson. We were very well looked after by Tim, who is an entertaining and engaging server. His card trick really amused us all. Good food and well presented. Rousing chorus of Happy Birthday was appreciated by our group of eleven.

The food was good, had appetizers. The service was ok, I think there was some Christmas get together going on. For a quick late night bite it was good.

The atmosphere in this Toronto landmark is still as appealing today as when I was a kid -many many years ago-however the quality of the food was sadly awful. Three of us ordered all three never ate after first bite anything. Truly one of the biggest disappointments ever. Will never eat there again. Food was tasteless and truly awful. So... More

A landmark in Toronto although i have no idea why. Children who enjoy a can of alphaghetti will enjoy the overcooked, over sauced dishes. Anyone else will be horribly disappointed with the food. I wish there was an aspect of the food that of of us enjoyed but even the kids had a more discerning palate.

We stopped by TOSF after a long journey to Toronto. Loved the design of the building and decorations, added to an amazing atmosphere. Food was an excellent price and delicious. Recommend for a nice night out.

We went here for dinner before the movies. Fun family theme place with good service. Food was okay. I loved the loaves of sour dough bread with garlic butter. I used to eat here as a teenager on dates & that was a very long time ago!!! 😢😢

They have been in business for years and remain very popular offering a wide assortment of pasta favourites ... They now have a number of other locations across Canada ... As times and tastes have changed since they first opened, their menus have evolved accordingly ... They continue to attract guests with the basics that built their menu, being all... More

It is cheap, food is great and served fast, very busy but vibrant and full of character. Truly amazing experience. Highly recommended!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
